We stayed in a cabin so I can't rate the rooms. The cabins run the range of amenities but we stayed in two and neither one had a/c (or a fan), hot water, a tub or shower, a kitchen sink, or insulation. The staff was terrific, very friendly and helpful. Hailey in particular went out of her way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The first cabin we tried had a great porch outside but was in rather a dilapidated condition. I didn't like the kitchen, the fridge or the lack of electrical outlets. There was a double outlet in the kitchen and the fridge was plugged into one of them. There was one other outlet and it was hanging from a naked lightbulb in one of the bedrooms. That was it. We were going to leave after the first night but were offered a different cabin. We liked it much better. No porch but I liked the tiny kitchen, the fridge and the outlets in every room. My recommendation would be to ask to change cabins if you don't like the first one you see. A short walk to the beach and there is a restaurant at the main lodge that I hear is excellent. I would not recommend staying at one of the cabins in the winter, even though there was a small heater in both the cabins. They weren't insulated and you could see outside in some places. The bottom line is that we enjoyed our stay. I would suggest coming prepared for rustic living and you should have a good time.
