We loved the room overlooking the sea with a large terrace. All the staff were polite and efficient. The beer garden and the terrace outside the bar were great. Some of the carpet in the corridors outside the rooms and the exit to the terrace could have benefited from a hoover! The only downside to the room was that there was no milk provided to enjoy a cup of tea. When I asked about this I got a thermos flask of hot milk which obviously went off the next morning as there was no fridge. I think a fridge in the room would be a great asset.

Lovely hotel 6 minute stroll from the train station and with a wonderful closeness to the beach. A bit quirky as the room had a distinctive slant to the floor but added to the loveliness of the room. Breakfast was sublime and very filling. Overall a great stay.

You know when you stay somewhere and everything is perfect even though I didn't have the sea view I had a street view fascinating. and my single bed was so comfortable I loved the room if you want the heat on it is there and the shower and the whole bathroom and bedroom.I loved it and the staff were so. helpful and full of local information and now to the food only one word perfect that's eating at the hotel or out and the prices are workable and the beaches are so clean would go back tomorrow

The room was nice and cosy even if there were few details that could have been looked after. It was just a bit cold due to the old windows but we closed the blinds and it was ok. Breakfast was good. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Great location and atmosphere
Lovely welcome from Ella on arrival. We have a standard double room which was perfectly adequate for our stay. Very clean, quality bed linen/towels. Mattress firm but to our liking but firm pillows not my preference but slept fine. Room facing road so light sleeper might find it a bit noisy but did not bother us. Facilities great, lovely bar/restaurant on sea front, great views and great outdoor seating area. Had a lovely dinner and Jack was our lovely waiter. Breakfast was a good selection and staff cheerful and welcoming. We will definitely stay again when we visit broadstairs. Great location for exploring and a car park about 5 minutes walk, 24 hrs parking £15.
