holiday at SeaView Cottage
The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had.

Nice comfortable cottage but chilly
We would have appreciated a small welcome pack i.e. milk etc, as is provided in other properties we have rented, thereby saving us having to go to the shop as soon as we arrived.

Had an enjoyable stay, clean and comfortable, very handy for the train, didn’t need to use the car at all. Will definitely be returning to Broadstairs, loved it.

Centrally-Located & Well Appointed Small House
Good s/c property for mobile adults; would accommodate children, but confined spaces. Steepish stairs and limited shady back yard with table & chairs. Modern kitchen appliances and cottagey furnishings. Parking tricky, as narrow shared area. Great, central location.

Not bad but not great
Just about ok only one single bed made up.. it was very cold when we arrived it would have been nice if the heating had been on.solidified coffee in coffee tin.. no books in lounge ..dishwasher needed attention looked full of limescale..much further to the cottage than shown on the website.. very large clock in kitchen..no battery!. I think just a little more attention to detail would be good ..

October break at no 8
Loved the cottage, most equipped property I've stayed at. Very clean and in a great location for restaurants, bars and shops. A very friendly informative owner, always happy to communicate, would definitely stay again at No 8!

A delightful cottage
We had a lovely stay in Seaview Cottage - we didn’t want to leave! The location is perfect - quiet but very central. The cottage had everything that we needed. It is cosy and charming. The beds are very comfortable and we felt very much at home. We’d love to stay again.

October break
Lovely three night stay in this house - it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. An easy walk into town and the beach and the local shopkeepers and restaurant staff were all really friendly and helpful. The only issue is with the access to the house in the car - I know it has been mentioned in previous reviews but it is VERY tricky to negotiate and you need to be pretty confident at driving in reverse unless you drive a very small car!

Great staycation
Very close to centre of Broadstairs where there are lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Cottage spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Sheltered little court yard with rattan furniture so great for evening drinks. Would not hesitate to return.

Lovely little cottage.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. It was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was a good size and well equipped, with a nice sized dining table. The whole property was beautifully decorated and as described. The only downside was the parking which was quite tricky! Definitely not suitable for a large car, this is mentioned in the description but maybe not emphasised enough. The booking process and communication with the owner was very good. Overall we would be be happy to recommend this property to others.

Midweek getaway
The cottage is exactly as described. Spotlessly clean, small but perfectly proportioned. The kitchen had lovely crockery, lots of glasses and everything you need including tea towels and sponges. The bedlinen and bath towels were soft and fluffy, beds were very comfortable and lovely pillows. The small courtyard garden was pretty and had a nice table and chairs. The location was perfect, 2 minutes walk to the high street and and a short stroll to the beach - The Pathway is down a very narrow lane, you definitely need to drive a smallish car! We thoroughly enjoyed Broadstairs, lots of great restaurants, we particularly enjoyed the Thai restaurant, Siam Kitchen. We would 100% recommend Fishermans Cottage, you won't be disappointed.

Sea View Cottage
It is a very well maintained property and is very comfortable. The only criticism is the cracked sink in the kitchen. The main problem however is the parking. Very difficult to get down the track to the cottage and it was difficult not to get wedged in by other cars parking in the nearby cottages. This outlined earlier in the cottage details.

Lovely break
We really enjoyed our stay. Cottage is very central but tucked away. Everything is spotlessly clean. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very homely. Broadstairs was lovely and our 5 year old had lots of fun on the beach even though the weather was cold.

Gorgeous, very well equipped cottage in excellent location!
We loved staying at Seaview Cottage! It is beautiful and brilliantly equipped... we didn’t need for anything! The lovely sandy beach is just a short 5 minute stroll away, which was ideal for our nearly 5 year old daughter. Thank you Emily for a wonderful break, we will definitely be back, next time for longer!!

Lovely well equiped cottage, peaceful location but near restaurants and beach.
We had a relaxing time staying at the comfortable cottage. It was good to not hear any traffic and have our own private back garden. We would definitely consider coming again.

Lovely quiet location but so close to the town
We were there for the folk festival so it was perfect - a quick walk to the main street and so quiet. Only a few minor issues - the washing machine did not work and only 2 dishwasher tablets provided which seemed a little mean given what we were paying for the week!

Second visit this year to this perfect little cottage - it’s at the end of a charming lane, close to the seafront but very tranquil & contains everything needed for a week away. Will be back next year for sure.

Very well and thoughtfully equipped.
This is my second stay in Seaview Cottage and once again I appreciated the care that had gone into converting and preparing it for guests. If you suddenly think I need X, if you look you will find it. The cottage is very quiet and cool after a hot day on the beach. It was also nice, because I arrived on a Sunday, that there were basic supplies in the cupboard. (Similarly I left more basic supplies for the next occupants.) There are lots of places to eat in Broadstairs but we found that Taylors, which looks more like a bar, is in fact a very good restaurant and the owner is about to add greenery and fairy lights so it will look more inviting. The Royal Albion Hotel has a wonderful assistant manager, Aram Rawf, who arrived as an unaccompanied 17yr old Kurdish refugee and is now a local hero. Worth eating there to hear his story. Highly recommended in every way though the very steep stairs make it unsuitable for small children or people with mobility problems.
