Fanstastic and quiet little town. Great site just outside of Innsbruck to avoid the hustle and bustle. Fascinating history Bruck, a simple walk over the bridge is an educational experience
Good location for touring situated at the base of the Gross Glockner Alpenstrass in Bruck.
The hotel has free covered parking.
There are new and original parts to the hotel, lots of character in the old part where we stayed for just one night.
The rooms are comfortable but ‘a bit tired’ with dated decor, not a big deal though as all was clean and well kept.
Good Bathroom
Quite a nice view over the garden and hillside to the rear with some livestock giving that alpine cowbell sound as they moved about.
There is a non heated outdoor pool which would be most welcome in season.
We were disappointed that the overall attitude from the staff was that welcoming and hosting us was a chore, although efficient it lacked any welcome to our hotel sparkle.
We put this down to an early/pre season stay BUT regardless of the season if they are open for business then the service level should be consistent.
I hope and trust it is better in the main season.
I don’t like writing negative reviews but in this case I think it’s warranted

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Good size room. Staff very helpful and friendly.. But, no hand soap or shower gel in the bathroom. We had to find a shop to buy some just to wash our hands.
Smoking allowed throughout lounge / reception area. Would never have booked if we had known. Although there is a non smoking room the smell seeps through the hotel. Reception staff rude and non attentive. Family owners having full on shouting argument outside customer bedrooms at 2.30am!! Inconsistent charging for WiFi and would not honour Expedia price quoted - our booking was for 4 persons and they told us Expedia was wrong and charged us another 40 € extra. Will never visit again. Due to the level of cigarette smoke this hotel is unsuitable for non-smokers and children.
Plenty of parking, small but functional rooms, you have to ask for soap from the front desk. Paid WIFI not included with room cost, but free breakfast.
I will definitely come back.... very classic hotel with unique furniture ... it remind us all of living in 1960sss

Since our last stay a few years ago the overall impression is negative. Especially the commitment of the mainly Polish staff to their jobs gives a negative impact.

Good hotel at a good price
Decent hotel, good staff. Breakfast was ok, not great.
The town is super cute and adorable. We ate at dinner there and it was pretty great and the waiter was awesome. I room was a little unique but great for the night.
The Hotel was very easy to find. After we entered the village and directly ahead after passing over the bridge was the hotel straight ahead
We had Room 201 and will say this
Only ONE PILLOW pp and also one could Not sit in bed due to the ornate wooden surrounds which hurt ones back no matter how you tried

Not a great experience
This is a beautiful old fashioned hotel, sadly the staff don't do it justice. I went to the front desk a few times with issues but each time there was no one there and had to wait 10 minutes at a time.
The room temperature was impossible to regulate except to open a window now and again. At -8 outside this was not a good way to manage it.
Nil soap it the bathroom for washing hands.
Breakfast was a very basic free for all in a tiny room.
Not a great experience, sadly.

Nice historic hotel near the river.
Beautiful historic hotel with nice open spaces for gathering. However, smoking smell is evident in all public places.
clean but dated, we were staying in a newer wing & think the older part had more charm but it was only for 1 night & was close to drive the Grossglockner the next day. Staff were helpful.

Nice Hotel in Bruck; Close to Zell Am See
The hotel was convenient, clean and comfortable for our stay near Zell Am see. It feels like a family-run establishment which is nice, but it did lack amenities you'd expect at more established hotels.
They got all the big things right: location, price, cleanliness; but missed the small bits that make a hotel 4 or 5 stars: terrible towels, OK beds, no toiletries, no free wifi.
