We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very comfortable and in a perfect location. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent and there are lots of very good dining options. Bike hire is a good option if you’d like to explore the area around Bruges as well as the city itself.

A great stay for our first visit to Bruges.
A lovely and very comfortable hotel with all mod cons and a touch of luxury but without loosing its old world charm. My husband and I stayed in a delux suite with canal view. Very, very spacious, lovely decor, the bathroom was huge with a superb shower and great pressure. We loved the separate loo with a heated seat that automatically lifted when you went in❤️ Our only niggle was the pillows, (and bed to a degree) were a little harder than we’re used too but in no way did it spoil our stay. It is also a shame that the hotel don’t do evening meals, just breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants near by. Very peaceful, quiet hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again if we return to Bruges☺️

It is set in a beautiful part of Brugges it is easily accessible to the centre of the city. It is an old building that adds to its charm.

This was a great location on the canal! The room was large, nicely finished with a new bathroom ! The issue was the condition of the carpet that was badly stained and we had a rip in our duvet cover. The same in the hallway carpet was stained and in some cases ripped! Staff was ok but not real friendly or welcoming! Traffic noise was a moderate issue! This could be wonderful with a little TLC. I

I really wanted to like this hotel. It has potential - housed in a quaint and charming building. However, the hotel needs some serious renovations. The stairs are covered with carpet that is threadbare, ripped and taped together in places. The towels are thin and need to be replaced. The whole place has an air of neglect.

Despite being a special and historic building, it should have more apparent maintenance. The rooms have smell, the temperature cannot be adjusted, and the whole building is a mess to be honest. The breakfast was the only real good thing about this place.

Beautiful hotel
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the canal. The room was very comfy and spacious. The hotel itself has has kept all its original features inside which is so nice to look at. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great stay.

A really nice hotel in a great location. Friendly staff especially at the front desk when we checked in. We stayed in one of the suites room 19. Massive bed and big bathroom. Clean throughout the hotel, nice breakfast.
