This magnificent custom home is one of our many vacation rentals in East Beach on St Simons Island, completed in 2017 and has been showcased on the 2018 Christ Church Tour of Homes. Featuring 5 bedrooms and 5-1/2 bathrooms, this designer home will wow you from the moment you step inside. With its sophisticated beachy décor, extended height 11' ceilings throughout and the open living floor plan, this is the perfect place to relax during your stay on St. Simons. Located on the beach side of Bruce Drive between 9th St. and 11th St., this home is just a short walk to the beach.

The centerpiece of the home is the gourmet chef's kitchen, and no detail has been forgotten. The kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance and utensil you will need during your stay. Featuring an oversized built-in refrigerator/freezer, gas range, two dishwashers, and an iconic large island space with space for four to eat or snack. The dining space has an expansive dining table with room to comfortably seat 10 people. Adjacent to the kitchen is a living space and wet bar for all of your entertaining needs. Enjoy all of the comforts of home while you relax on the oversized custom furniture and watch the large flat screen tv.

Step outside from the living room and enter the outdoor entertaining space of the Lanai. The outdoor kitchen is the perfect space to relax poolside at the large island and grab a cool beverage from the full-size refrigerator. A pool bath is conveniently located in the Lanai with quick access to the pool. Adjacent to the Lanai is wonderful sunroom featuring a towering fireplace and television. This area creates the perfect space to kick back and relax while enjoying the custom detail of the exotic pecky cypress wood ceiling from the large sofa.

As you exit the Lanai, you step down into your private pool area which is perfect for all members of your party. The pool features an 8" deep entry area with an in pool umbrella offering a wonderful place to lounge or for the little ones to play. The opposite side of the pool will relax all who indulge as you sit on the 6 foot in-water bench under the waterfall. Lounge chairs, dining area and extra seating areas surround the pool to ensure you can find ultimate sun and fun anytime. The pool can be heated upon request for an additional $45 / night for year round enjoyment!

The first floor spacious Primary Bedroom Suite offers all the comforts and features that one would hope for. A king bed is surrounded by two sitting areas and a large flat-screen television. The en suite primary bathroom showcases a spa like décor with double vanities, free standing soaking tub, oversized custom shower and a walk-in closet.

Upstairs spotlights another living space surrounded by a porch overlooking the pool, a coffee/beverage station and four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms to allow for perfect privacy for your entire group. Included in the four upstairs bedrooms is a one-of-a-kind bunk room with custom bunk beds suited to sleep six. The nautical themed bunk room is perfect for the kids and even includes a reading nook play area with books, and games!

St Simons Vacation
All was good with the property, clean, easy check in, everything worked as intended. Great area to access beach, walks for exercise and getting to local restaurants. One of the phantom screens malfunctioned during the last day, but didn't affect where we socialized that night, and I have those same screens at home, so I understood they can be finicky Great place to stay for kids and adults.

Our family had a wonderful experience staying in this beautiful home. The house was perfect. Was immaculately clean and well cared for. Everything we needed was easily accessible and available - VERY well curated. The pool area was delightful and the interior was very spacious. Pictures do not really do it justice as to how large the home was. It was also just a short walk to a quiet section of beach. Very highly recommend for families or groups.

One of our favorite rentals to date!
This home was very well thought out. Plenty of room for everyone and very beautifully decorated. Perfect location in proximity to the beach for the summer. We had the pool heated which was fun for the kids since it was chilly out and they couldn’t play at the beach. Management was very quick to respond when we needed anything. The house is absolutely stunning and has everything you could ever need during your stay. We made dinner multiple nights and found the kitchen was very well stocked. The house was immaculate and had so many thoughtful touches! We LOVED the ice machine :) The outdoor space was probably our favorite part as we spent many hours in the pool and on the covered patio. The perfect place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our whole family!
This is a comfortable, "like new" home with all the space and amenities I was looking for 4 couples and 6 young grandchildren. At the top of the list was the pool and the outdoor bathroom, the large, well-equipped kitchen and 3 separate living areas (2 down and 1 upstairs). Every bedroom had its own bathroom and the 6-person bunk room was a major hit with the kids. Other great features include 2 laundry rooms, a bar and a luxurious master suite. Best of all, the beach is an easy 5-minute walk away. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us!

Wading Inn was perfect house for my family to enjoy Thanksgiving week. Three BR suites on second floor with bunk room perfectly suited two married sons, one single son and four grandchildren. My wife and enjoyed the master suite on the first floor. The open floorplan on main level kept us together at all times. Weather was a bit too cool for the little ones on the beach. The heated pool more than adequately replaced the beach. You provided everything we needed for our week, even down to the apple corer for children snacks. Thsi property is recommended to all interested.

Perfect weekend!
Stayed here for a friends weekend and everything was great! The kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for group gathering and hanging. The pool and outdoor porch were a private oasis while being in the middle of a charming neighborhood a block from the beach. Garage stocked with pool toys, umbrellas and beach chairs for use. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and each room has its own bathroom. The house is as nice as the pictures look, which isn’t always the case with rentals. Everything was smooth and I would definitely return to this property!

Myself, my 3 children and their spouses plus 7 grandkids checked into Wading Inn and were thrilled.
We had a fabulous time during our stay. We hated to leave. We hung out around the pool, enjoyed coffee in the mornings in the screened in porch, played cards at the dining table in the evening and walked the beach at night to view the stars over the ocean. The consensus was, it was “ the best vacation ever “. What a gorgeous home!!

The Enchanted Cottage was our home base for our son's wedding week. His in laws own a home down the street so the proximity worked nicely. We never used the house to the full capacity but it was so nice to have all of the space. The house was very clean and had everything necessary to cook. Also enjoyed having plenty of parking. I can't say enough great things about this property. Great organization throughout, especially in the kitchen. Kitchen was amazing! The decor decor was lovely! We spent most of our time in the pool or at the beach which was a block away. The management team was quick to respond with any question. Hope to return again soon!

Fantastic property that exceeded expectations
Would highly recommend staying here and am planning on making a return trip next year for certain. The house is spacious enough for everyone to spread out and was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and decor. Beautiful house! Was exactly as described. The freezer was a bit slow to work. Really didn’t freeze until 3rd day there. The pool company made a mistake on the 4th day and messed up the pool so we were not able to use it for 24 hours, but other than that it was wonderful! We would rent again!

Memorial Day Weekend
We had an amazing time at the Enchanted Cottage. We were so please with how well it comfortably accommodated all 16 of us. The kids loved the bunk room and each couple loved having their own en suite bathroom. They have truly thought of everything. We can’t wait to come back!
