The blonde lady at check in was very rude when I asked if it was possible to check in early. She made it sound as though it was unheard of to check in early. We got there at 2:30 and check in was at 4pm. Was not impressed by the service at all. A different woman charged my card twice. Poor service!!!!

Loved this place
This was a great old charm kind of place. Right across from the lighthouse and by the pier. Plenty of shops and great restaurants all in walking distance. The 2 4stars is only bc they are under renovations. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was meh but thats ok because 3 Little Birds is right down the road and they had a spectacular breakfast. I will be back after the renovations are done.

Wonderful property but in my reading i never saw 'under construction' anywhere. Drywall work going on. Certainly had an effect on stay. Have traveled much and seen different approaches on remodeling or repair. First be upfront about work going on. Dont want to find out with a sign upon checkin. Second do not charge your going rates for staying in these conditions. Third we chose not to have our room cleaned while there and were denied fresh towels by house keeping. This was our first trip to SSI. Will definately be back to the island again!

Marcus at the front desk checked us in, and he was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. We loved the Halloween decorations. We had a room with a balcony, which we enjoyed. The location was excellent. Quiet, safe, can walk to everything. Pool looked nice, though we didn’t use it. Parking was so easy, well-lit, lots of cameras so car felt safe. Breakfast was ok. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely location
The place had been updated, looked nice. Partly unfinished pics not moved after changing out furniture. Pillows where too big for comfort. Coffee only in the lobby, breakfast was very limited. Nice location and decent price. Location so great, one would never need to move your car.

4 ladies getaway trip, great location, very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Marcus. Only drawback was there is a kitchen, no utensils, no, papertowels, or dish detergent, not even a broom to clean up some crumbs we had dropped. Also picture showed a coffeemaker on counter in kitchen but not in room. But all in all it was a wonderful stay
