This was my first time to Budapest.
This hotel is a little way out from the river and what appeared to be the ‘nicer’ end of Pest. Nearer the river was more tourist friendly with nice restaurants and just the general feel was more appealing.
Around this hotel, the area was a bit run down and not as nice. I would not stay here again.
The room was spacious and clean. However, I found some staff helpful and others just rude.
During breakfast, one staff member started rambling at me in Hungarian, which I didn’t understand, but it would appear she was hacked off from where I took my coffee cup! She then proceeded to grab, yes grab, my arm to tell me off like a child. Thought I was a guest!
On my final day, I was subjected to house keeping entering the room at 10am, without knocking, despite check out being at 12. Thankfully, I was dressed!
I felt maybe some staff needed to be a little more customer focused.
Taking everything into consideration, I won’t be returning to this hotel.
