Absolutely fantastic

The apartment did indeed have an amazing and unobstructed view of the Danube. It was half a block away from Tram stations so that made it very easy to get around. The apartment was equipped and the hosts left us with water, creamers for coffee, a healthy supply of coffee pods and even a bottle of white wine.

Beautiful and Convenient Location

Vincent was extremely easy to contact and communicate with and his staff was friendly and helpful. Someone was there for checkin and for checkout even though we had to leave extremely early. They even got us a cab to the airport! The view was AMAZING and we spent time hanging out on the balcony both day and night.The apartment is centrally located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of places to eat or catch a drink nearby. The apartment was well furnished, clean, and the kitchen fully stocked with appliances, flatware, and dishes.Our only disappointment was having to leave!

Outstanding apartment

Outstanding modern apartment with fantastic service from all the apartment managers - courteous, friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything and plenty of public transport if you don't walk. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants in the area. Lastly...... the view of course was amazing!!

Fantastic VRBO Budapest

The amenities in this VRBO were exceptional: huge beautiful kitchen, 2 bathrooms with heated floors, large living room and bedroom with a SPECTACULAR view from the patio doors in the LR overlooking the Danube. There was also a smaller bedroom. The dealings with the Property Manager and Owner were great. I truly hope to stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Amazing Stay!

From the initial communication with Vincent to our departure and checkout with Niki, everything about this stay was excellent!I began communicating a few months ago with Vincent about the details of the booking and he was always very responsive and helpful. I really appreciated all the insight and help.The apartment is more wonderful than the description or pictures show, if that's even possible. The view of the Danube and Fisherman's Bastion is stunning, especially at sunset and after dark.The location was perfect for what we needed. We were able to walk from the train station. We purchased a transportation pass for 6.50 and were able to easily reach every destination we wanted.Additional key points: the bathrooms have heated floors! and heated towel racks :-) And, there is a washing machine/dryer in one! We did not use it, but had no idea these existed.We checked out very early in the morning (5 a.m.) and Niki met us at the apartment with a taxi driver to take us to the airport.Honestly, could not have asked for a more beautiful place in a perfect location with the best host.

Roomy Modern Apt, Great Location, Phenomenal View

A wonderful apartment that lived up to the online description. It made a great nesting place to return to after a busy day of sightseeing in this fascinating city. The View of Buda and the Danube was picture-postcard perfect from the master bedroom and balcony. We had to send pictures home straight away to show family how fortunate we were to find such a place. Thank you for making this modern apartment everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, the living room spacious and relaxing, and the heated bathroom floors were a most welcome treat during the nights and mornings. Nearby access to every form of public transportation was a terrific plus, and with both of us being 65 it was all free! The Ohana Cafe by the front door was convenient and made staggering out for a large coffee and croissant to start the day an easy task. Thanks to Vincent for adjusting our arrival and departure times and for the wine on our arrival. That was true customer service. And thanks to Niki for her orientation and offers of continued assistance. We will definitely recommend this place for family visits in the future.

We spent a wonderful five days in this apartment. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was full of necessities. Not only were we able to fix our breakfasts, but it was also great to visit nearby restaurants and bring the food back to eat on the balcony. The host was very helpful on a minor issue that cropped up during the stay and was full of information on the surrounding area. Familiarize yourself with the Budapest public transportation system because you will be literally steps away from trams that will take you into the heart of the city. If it's available for your trip, book it. Don't hesitate.

Outstanding Place

I stumbled upon this apartment and boy am I glad I did. The owner, Vincent, and property manager, Niki, were wonderful to work with. Communication prior to our visit was regular and informative. Upon our arrival, Niki personally walked us through the apartment to make sure that we knew where everything was and how everything worked. The location of the apartment, right near Margaret's Bridge was perfect. The Number 2 Tram stopped in front of the apartment and got you to important locations in Budapest. The view from the balcony was spectacular, you can see the beautiful Parliament building to your left and St. Mathew's Cathedral and Buda Castle straight ahead of you across the Danube which, by the way, is right in front of you. We watched all the boats going up and down the river while we were there. The apartment itself is modern, very well appointed and very comfortable. The beds were great, so much so we are thinking of upgrading our mattresses at home. IT WAS VERY CLEAN with modern appliances galore. A very appreciated touch was the fact that the apartment had a small supply of dishwasher tabs, laundry liquid, salt, pepper, sugar, other spices, coffee, tea, body wash, etc. It is a major drag when coming to an apartment after a transatlantic flight, VRBO or otherwise, and as soon as you arrive the first thing you have to do is run out and buy stuff. What a blessing. This will be our 'go to' when we come back to BP.

Unbeatable views in a super modern apartment

The views are what give this apmt such a high rating. It is black and white modern with not a bit of Hungarian in it. Some people like this but we came to "feel" Hungary not super modern. Could not figure out the unnecessary myriad of light switches and there was really no place to unpack and put suitcases. Check-in was fine once we got in as the bell didn't work outside to apmt. Women who checked us in and out were pleasant. Towels were wonderfully thick and new and kitchen well-appointed.

Perfect!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect! Walking distance to the parliament, train station is a 1/2 block from the apartment and that will connect you to the rest of the city and attractions! We especially loved sitting on the deck enjoy a glass of wine watching all the boats on the Danube.

SUPER home and host!

Amazing flat with beautiful river and castle view! We were met there by Timi so check in was easy. She showed around the apt and answered all our questions about the area. Pre checkin communication from Vincent was frequent and very, very helpful. He was one of our best hosts ever and the flat was perfect for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Million Dollar Property and Million Dollar Views

We stayed for about 5 days and from the very start, it was first class. The property managers came and showed us how to use all the appliances and left us with wine, orange juice, and a bottle of water. Any questions we had were answered immediately. The apartment was beautifully furnished and the views were like none other. The location was perfectly located close to cafe’s, Parliament Building and Margaret Island. Everyone spoke English and made us feel welcome. We loved this stay and will definitely come back.

Incredible apartment, great location and unparalleled views

This apartment is huge, very well maintained and nicely decorated. Perfectly furnished with all the necessary accessories. We made full use of the air conditioners as the weather outside was extremely hot during our visit (mid-August). Vincent and his team are keeping it very clean and in great shape. They are also very friendly and supportive. They helped us get around the city and suggested some nice places to eat and enjoy. Both check-in and check-out were very prompt and efficient, they even arranged a taxi for us on our way to the airport. As for location and the views... Who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of the Danube river and the Buda Castle hill in their window!!! The balcony is fairly spacious (table with 4 chairs and some room to move around them) and wonderfully placed at the corner of the building providing a 270 degrees view around. Pictures in the VRBO add are very accurate. Tram station is right in front of the building and the Metro line not too far. Parliament Building and Margaret Island are a very close walk (one tram stop) from the apartment. We bought a family daily public transportation pass (includes Metro and all above ground busses and trams) and got around the city very easy and efficient. Highly recommend to download the BudapestGO app on your phone and buy the online pass. Very easy and convenient, it also provides various options for how to get to your destination using public transportation vehicles.
