Fantastic stay for myself, husband, teenage daughter and our dog. First time staying at a Holiday Inn Express and won’t be our last. Great location, lots of parking spaces and dog friendly, which is ideal for us. The staff were great, from staff on reception, staff on breakfast, gentleman on the bar at night, cleaning staff, all were fantastic - well done - you are all a credit to Holiday Inn. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff we came in contact with, were so friendly and happy, not what you find these days! Hotel was lovely, clean and spacious, both inside and out. Breakfast had everything, from cereal, fresh fruit, croissants/muffins, to full English with tea, coffee etc which is included in your room price. Meals at night were also excellent in both taste and value for money. Sorry to leave, thanks for having us.

Friendly staff and good value for money
We got there before check-in for a wedding and a new-ish woman was behind the desk. We tried to see our options for checking in but she wasn’t sure so asked us if we could wait until someone more experienced came along. While we waited (only a couple of minutes), I was wearing my wedding guest outfit and when I turned around she asked me if I wanted her to cut out my label because it was showing! This sounds like such a small thing but I was so thankful! Just a nice gesture. After that, another woman came along and gave us our room keys. The lady, the original lady and the groundsman (I think?) were all super friendly, having a little laugh with us. We weren’t in the hotel much but my sleep was great! Comfy bed, no complaints (other than my partner banging around the room at 8am!) The breakfast was also great, everything you need (full English, fruit, toast, cereal). The OJ was deeeelish. The Olympics was on which was a nice touch and the staff were very friendly too. Overall great experience, I would definitely stay again if I was in the area. It’s great value for money.

Just spent 4 days here with my partner, we had the most comfortable stay, all the staff are friendly & can't do enough for you, nothing is to much bother, the rooms were clean cosy & very comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was excellent, plenty to choose from, we also had an evening meal on 2 nights which was enjoyable, will definitely be staying here again the next time we are visiting Burnley, thanks again to everyone at Holiday Inn Express for such a lovely stay
