Hi, we’re your hosts, Graham & Krista, a husband and wife team who renovate houses for a living and owners of Hopskip Home, a collection of three vacation rental houses across the Poconos. We welcome you to the Hopskip Home Retro Chalet. This home has been in our family for nearly 20 years. We just refreshed the house with all new décor and a few vintage treasures to open our doors to you. We hope you enjoy this nostalgic yet thoroughly modern stay.

Or escape to our favorite place in the house, the enclosed porch and get snuggled in the egg chair or on the lounge furniture.

• LIVING & DINING ROOM • Entertain in the open concept living room/dining room with vaulted ceilings with sliding doors leading to the oversized deck. The living room has a new smart HDTV with Prime, Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu+Live. The indoor dining table seats 6 plus 4 more at the breakfast bar. Note: this fireplace is for decoration only.

• KITCHEN • Cook up a feast in this refreshed kitchen with new countertops and workstation sink. This well-stocked space has everything you need to store your food, prep and cook meals or serve up some drinks. It has a refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, toaster, blender, pots and pans, S/P, plates, bowls, utensils, cups, mugs, wine glasses, wine openers, serving trays, trash bags, cleaning supplies and more.

• THREE BEDROOMS PLUS TWO BED SLEEPING LOFT • Take your pick of where to sleep… do you choose the rust color bedroom (queen bed) with ensuite bath, the mustard yellow bedroom (queen bed), the forest green bedroom (full bed) or the hip TV loft with vaulted ceilings (2 single beds)? Either way, you’ll sleep comfy on new memory foam mattresses and fresh, clean bedding.

• TWO FULL BATHROOMS • Each level has its own full bathroom. The full bathrooms each have a tub or shower, new vanities and plenty of places to stash your stuff. We provide bath towels (1 per guest), dark washcloths for make up removal, a hair dryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

• SAW CREEK COMMUNITY • You’ll be staying in the private gated community of Saw Creek Estates in Bushkill, PA. The community has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a lake, a “beach”, scenic picnic areas, walking pond, playgrounds, indoor and outdoor tennis and pickle courts, basketball courts, a bar restaurant and more!

***NOTE: Guests must complete a mandatory community Guest Registration Form prior to arrival to gain access to the community. HOA fees and amenity passes for up to 6 guests are included in your stay but (a) if you have more than 6 guests, there is a $25/day fee per guest for use of the amenities and (b) if your registration form is not received 3 days prior to arrival, a late fee of $75 is added by the HOA.
