Charming Cabin near Snowdonia National Park

This cosy cabin is located in a wonderful, rural spot in Llanwnda near Caernarfon and the beach at Dinas Dinlle.

Many of our guests use the cabin as a base for climbing Snowdon, paddle boarding and of course, visiting Snowdonia National Park.

The beautiful scenery, neolithic sites and history are all around you. You will be spoilt for choice with outdoor activities, but the cabin is so peaceful that you might prefer to sit by the stove drinking your favourite tipple.

The lovely living areas and excellent location make it the perfect choice for a family get away or get together with friends. This beautifully styled detached cabin sits in its own gardens and has oodles of character. It includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home. Being all on one level, it is ideal for young children and those that may find it difficult to move around.

It has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4.
In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed.
The second bedroom also contains a double bed.
A travel cot can also be provided free of charge on request.

It is only a few minutes' drive from the beautiful beach of Dinas Dinlle (see photos) and the ancient Iron Age fort which is open 365 days a year.

As a self-catering cabin, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay: a generous supply of pots, pans and utensils. There are herbs, spices and salt and pepper for your cooking. The kitchen has a fridge, a freezer, a hob, an oven, a kettle, and a microwave. There is a washing machine in the utility area.

The lounge has a multi-fuel burning stove to keep you cosy and is a perfect place to relax. There is internet access throughout and the television includes iPlayer, ITV X, Netflix, Prime and more.

To the rear is a spacious sun room with a dining area and additional couch. The sun room leads out to the rear patio and garden where you will find tables and chairs and a barbecue.

The garden is beautiful, especially in Spring and Summer; if you stay in Autumn, please help yourself to apples and pears growing in the garden. We also have a herb garden in season.

Lovely Property!
Had a wonderful stay at Bag End. The cabin was truly a “Home-Away-From-Home” Everything you need is at your fingertips Clean, comfortable and cozy! Only suggestion I would make is a few signs to guide us in.

Bolt hole in the country
Lots of references to hobbits and the cabin was full of quaint. personal items that complimented the 'Bag End' feel to the place. For us, personally, it was not for us. We found the internet TV difficult and frustrating to use (we did ask the owner how to use it), and there were some items in the property that needed attention. A towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy to dry the towels as they were always damp/smelt damp. We did find the cabin chilly at night and early morning, but not cold enough to use the log fire (which we didn't know how to use anyway). The garden is superb with lots of seating to enjoy watching the birds and a wonderful display of plants and flowers to explore. Many previous visitors enjoyed their stay, but unfortunately this was not our cup of tea.
