Perfect hotel with excellent hosts. Exactly what we wanted a very peaceful retreat. Breakfast was great, the hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Echo previous reviews stating a shower is required other than that would recommend to anyone.
Will hopefully visit again.
Lauraine and Simon are such good hosts.
Breakfast was amazing with homemade jams.
Room is really tidy and you can have a bath on a Victorian tub.
Really quite place away from town center. Had a really good rest.
Will be back for sure
Accomodation was excellent, great nights sleeps. Hosts where amazing and very attentive and knowledgeable. Breakfast was made to perfection every morning. No faults at all.
We found the owners,Simon amd Lorain very welcoming and attentive. On our arrival we offered coffee and Hot Cross Buns. The Hall was warm and comfortable and the breakfast menus were superb. All in all we had a wonderful tine in a verg friendly establishment.
We first had the pleasure of staying at Penmachno Hall in 2015, when we planned another visit to North Wales it was a must to stay here.
Perfectly situated to enjoy some of the local sites, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff - like a home from home.
We will be back again!

Great base from which to explore
For all those that thought customer service and the personal touch was long gone, think again, superb hosting from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave and plenty in between, nothing was too much trouble and all delivered with a smile.
The accommodation at Penmachno Hall is of a very high standard and the hosts cannot do enough for you. The rooms are very comfortable and the grounds are lovely. Would definitely recommend this place.
I felt right at home here. Simon and his wife made me feel like VIP/family and always had a smile and a will to assist with anything. Their attention to detail was impeccable!
Beautiful weekend away. Amazing breakfasts, lovely hosts and warmly decorated room with very comfortable bed. Could sit in the morning room reading selection of books by the fire all day, only there's so much walking to be done outside. Planning time to return
Penmachno Hall is a lovely place to stay. The owners are very friendly, the rooms second to none and the breakfasts are terrific. That and the beautiful location add up to a wonderful experience.
The hosts are genuine and attentive. The area around Penmachno Hall was peaceful and relaxng . All the rooms are well dressed. All the little extras were there bath accessories, fluffy white towels, tea and coffee making facilities with real milk and nice ( for me gluten free ) biscuits. Staying here was a pleasure .
We stayed at Penmachno Hall for a long weekend break with the main aim of having a hike up Snowdon. We had the best weekend, made 100x better by the quality, hospitality and comfort of Penmachno Hall. The owners are up there with the friendliest people we have had the pleasure to meet, and their knowledge of the surrounding area and recommendations of activities to do made for a hugely enjoyable stay. The food quality of the bed and breakfast is top notch with a wide choice for breakfast. The room was cozy and extremely well equipped and refreshed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! We will be back!
