Nice and clean room. Great staff. Facilities need to be updated, as I had a drainage problem with the toilet and bath. Very slow to drain which actually caused the toilet to overflow. Some channels on TV didn't have good service which was frustrating considering location. A bit noisy with people in room next to me being able to be heard, but not too bad. I let reception know about these things. Overall, not a bad stay.

Very receptive staff. The room is very comfortable and the complimentary English breakfast is fantastic. The facilities in the room is neat and when I even needed to extend my stay, it was done with ease. The staff members would go extra miles to make sure one is comfortable.

Comfortable stay
We were down to watch Margaret Atwood speak at the Jubilee Auditorium and we’re very happy with the ease of finding this hotel afterward along with the friendly check-in. After a long day the comfortable bed was a welcomed relief.

Hotel is sandwiched between a highway and LRT train line. If you don't hear trucks zooming, you hear the train whizzing by. Hoping it quiets through the night. Bathroom floors could use a steam/deeper clean. Also, good shower pressure, but have to crank it almost all the way up to get hot water. Front desk was very abrupt and didn't tell us anything about property or area Have an ice bucket, but no clue where ice is. Glad we are just staying for one night.

Honestly, this is fine. You don't walk into your room and say wow, but it's good for a good night's rest. Bed was comfortable, pillows could have been more fluffy. The decor is dated and rooms are dim, but the service and cleanliness were good.
