It lies 200 kilometres to the north of Lisbon District, Portugal's capital city.

Sitting 80 kilometres to the east, Live Beach is a great place to while away an hour or two enjoying the sights and smells of the ocean. Costa Nova Beach also boasts some pleasant scenery. You'll find this enticing stretch of coastline 16 kilometres to the east.

The soft sounds of nature await you at National Forest of Bussaco. It lies just 30 kilometres away, so you won't have to be stuck on the road all day. Aveiro Salt Pans, 19 kilometres away, is another popular option.

Hoping to experience some thrilling soccer action? Then come and watch the S.C. Beira-Mar compete against the opposition on their home ground of Estadio Municipal de Aveiro, which is 20 kilometres away in Aveiro.
