I didnt like the artwork everywhere. Just too much, too loud and too big. The hotel should have nice pictures of the area or something historical.
The huge photo of Trump at reception was obnoxious.
A place I can return to over and over again. Such kind friendly and helpful staff and beautiful surroundings. Looking forward to when I can return again

The suite was excellent the property inside and out was excellent all the staff very friendly and helpful, bar staff excellent but a couple of the waitresses in the dining room could do with a bit more training that was the only slight minor gripe

Lavish surroundings accompanied by friendly attentive staff. The restaurant had a pleasant and varied menu that was well priced and wonderfully cooked. A pleasant bar with comfortable furnishings and a tea room adjacent, catered for your needs throughout the day. The spacious and comfortable room was astounding, with rugged cliff and sea views it was the perfect getaway. A truly spectacular experience in calm and historic surroundings. Thoroughly recommend.
Beautiful, unique property! Situated on the gorgeous Cornish coastline. Close to numerous trails, including the Coastal trail, Tintagel Castle & Merlin’s cave. Staff are amazing, so friendly & welcoming. Rooms are comfortable & have fantastic views. Very peaceful atmosphere. Walkable to the village & all amenities. Free parking, excellent breakfasts.
The location is excellent. However, the menu is geared towards Americans. The hotel needs extensive renovation and there are too many dogs staying there. It felt like a dogs home.
Had a wonderful time staying at Camalot. The room we had for 2 nights had amazing views, looking out over Tintagel castle ruins from one side & looking out to sea from the other side.
The bathroom was disappointing, but usable. The cooked breakfast was very nice, but could have been hotter. Generally enjoyed our stay & the area.
We’re from Canada and this was an exciting adventure that didn’t let us down. Go to the coast if you like seeing amazing things, it will not disappoint.
If you’re young, it’s quiet and full of old people with money. May not be for you but there’s bars in town. Roads are sketchy getting in if you don’t know how to drive on the wrong side of the road lol.
Lovely view and hotel. Room slightly disappointing
Its a beautiful hotel with a big restaurant, lounge area and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However the room we stayed in had an attached toilet that just about fits an average person standing. It was difficult to even sit and use the toilet properly. This was the only letdown. This wasn't shown in the pictures for the room which I think is not fair on customers trying to understand what they are buying into.
Overall had a great stay, this grand hotel has a lovely homely feel, clean and amazing views and good food.
The only thing that let it down was the bathroom... not at all in keeping with the rest of the building. Tiny plastic caravan type comes to mind.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Stunning position overlooking Tintagel Castle
The most stunning location in Tintagel. My room was small and cheap and had a plastic pod bathroom. I didnt eat there. But I enjoyed Tintagel Castle ans (for me) a challenging walk to Boscastle
