Safe neighbourhood good value hotel
Old fashioned hotel with large rooms, very clean and comfortable in good and safe neighbourhood. Walking distance to restaurants/bars. Lovely staff. Free parking onsite. Good value.

Recommended small hotel in good location
Good small hotel in Sao Jose dos Campos city. It is located close to restaurants and brazilian bars (walking distance). The hotel has a restaurant as well and a nice outdoors pool. The parking is free in a closed lot (safe). The bedroom was very clean and it was comfortable and spacious. The shower are was huge and nice. Recommended

Good area; works out for a short business trip
Came to SJC for a business trip; Ema Palace is very dated and service is average. Location is excellent as the neighborhood is lovely, safe, and there are many walking distance options. Included in your stay is a pass to a fitness club one street over so that is very nice. Overall the property is clean and safe but rooms need an overhaul.

Has the potential to be a very nice hotel
Very good neighborhood! The hotel has the potential to be really nice once some flaws are resolved: Carpets and breakfast are not nice! We have also disliked the fact that there was barely no warm/hot water in the shower and spa. The receptionist told us that they had experienced plumbing issues, and that it would be solved in no time. But it hasn’t! On the other hand, the hotel has a very nice pool, wide rooms and is located in a very attractive neighborhood!

Goteira de esgoto em cima da banheira
Paguei mais caro para ficar no quarto de luxo com banheira de hidromassagem e simplesmente não pode usar porque tinha uma goteira (não sei se de esgoto ou não) caindo bem em cima da banheira. Quando fui questionar na recepção a funcionária falou "é, acontece mesmo" e virou a cara, quando questionei a resposta dela, ela culpou os hóspedes do apartamento de cima porque eles deviam ter deixado a banheira deles vazar e aí era normal o apartamento de baixo sofrer gosteira e que não iria fazer nada. Achei um absurdo.
