The cabin was lovely! Highlights were definitely the huge, deep soaking tub, big comfy bed with really nice quality linen, lovely views of the countryside and the little mob of kangaroos that grazed in the paddock behind the cabin in the afternoons!
There had been a bit of heavy rain in the weeks before I stayed, which caused a bit of havoc with the unsealed driveways. The owners were quick to get a roller in to fix them up but they can be a bit rough going in a small car. There is a busy riding school on the property, but from the cabins I heard no noise at all, even on a busy Saturday.
My only concerns were that the wifi was a bit patchy - worked perfectly one night, then was painfully slow the next, which was a bit of a struggle as it was sort of a working holiday for me, and that work involved being able to stream a video feed. Don't expect to bring your netflix with you, but you'll be fine if you're just checking emails etc.
Margaret was an absolutely lovely host. She showed me around, gave me directions to the local shops and even gave me a great restaurant recommendation for my drive home. When not welcoming you to the property or wishing you a safe drive home the owners leave you to your privacy and I was undisturbed the whole weekend, though they are just a phone call away if you have questions.
I will definitely stay again!
