We booked sea facing room with enclave for 4 nights, due to connecting flight delay we could not arrive on the day, I called the reservation and talked to couple of people to request to move our stay by one day. After couple of call Mr. Hugo told me he would honor the request if I email explaining the flight issue. After his promise I moved my return flight date by one day. After changing flight they said they do not honor. As I had booked on Expedia, the Expedia agent tried to help us with no luck. I had to book another hotel for one night. If they hadn’t promised that they would honor my request I would not have changed my flight. I lost almost $1500 as a result of all these. The second issue was that they gave a sea facing room with good balcony, but the room size was very small. With 4 people the room was smaller than some of the cheap airport hotels. The third issue is- the first day the restaurant in the resort said they need us to reserve as it was Christmas Eve. They also told there is no reservation required following days. When we arrived on 26 th night they again told the reservation is accepted for enclave members. That info was not given to us when we checked in. We also had enclave rooms. Except for the beautiful beach the other things were very ordinary. I would not recommend this resort.

Very friendly staff but help with lot of limitations. Booked a premium ocean view room but was provided one by the kids’ pool which was very noisy. Not what was shown in the pictures while I booked.

Nice property for all inclusive. Food quality could be better. We went during Christmas with a family of 18. The resort could use another coffee / ice cream cafe and better quality food in all the dining options. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The hotel and views from our room were stellar. Room service was also very fast. We knew going in that this was peak season and would be busy, but did not expect the lack of food options. As there are no longer any reservations, besides one for the live hibachi at Noriku that you must be onsite to make (you cannot if you go on one of the day-long excursions from Thomas Cook though, so beware of that as well). Every lunch and dinner you end up in a long, long, long line. Then, at least for us, when we eventually got to eat, the waitstaff either forgot part of our order, or the difference between what was written on the menu and what arrived in front of us was stark. French onion soup, on the menu has a crouton and gruyere cheese, when arrived no crouton or cheese and for some reason had a single green bean in it. When asking the waiter where the crouton and cheese were, he confidently stated that they weren't normally added. The loaded baked potato that has crema (sour cream) and butter. The filet steak that was 2 NY strip steaks on top of each other (we ordered 4 filets for our family of 4, 3 were thick cut filet steaks, cooked very well... 1 was a ny strip that was folded over on itself and cooked medium well). That was after having to wait 3 hours to get in. The restaurant manager even remarked as we were leaving that "the hotel is oversold, that is why things are like this", pointing out the hotel manager as being at fault. Not a good service experience.

House keeping was horrible - would not clean rooms properly which did not change after several request. Front desk was not helpful enough - it took 3 days and several complaints to act on. Buffet breakfast would take 1 hr waiting in line to get a table and then 20 minutes to get an omelette . Property was oversold and yet they did not bother to have more breakfast buffet options . Any dinner needed one to stand in line 30 mts before opening to get reservation for that day . Mexican food restaurant was average !!! Never again in my life I will stay or recommend this property to even my enemies . Expedia should remove this property from your site to save your reputation.

We had a good stay at the Hilton All Inclusive Mar Caribe resort. We enjoyed the various services and families with kids will really find the options available very handy. The hotel was clean and safe. The personnel were very helpful. It was a crowded holiday week and the only downside was the long wait lines for the restaurants especially without the option to reserve a seating, we often had to wait for an hour for a table. The private beach access with lifeguards was super cool. The water was warm in the pools and the bar and food beside the pool and beach made us enjoy the sun and water uninterrupted. We opted for the tours and transportation provided by Thomas Moore travels and I found them to be reliable, timely and very helpful. Overall, a very relaxing vacation.

Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended Our stay was extremely disappointing, with poor service from start to finish. • Room cleaning: Minimal effort—towels were replaced, but rooms weren’t cleaned properly, and supplies weren’t refilled. • Staff attitude: Hostesses were rude and unhelpful, often ignoring or skipping us in line at the buffet. • Buffet and restaurants: Long, frustrating lines. Restaurants were impossible to access at normal hours, and food quality was poor with many items missing. The only redeeming feature was the beach. Otherwise, everything about this hotel felt mismanaged and subpar. For the price we paid, this was unacceptable. I won’t stay at a Hilton property again and don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Enclave beachfront rooms had amazing views of the Caribbean Sea! Beautiful white sand beach. Not too crowded. It’s hard to sometimes find a shaded beach chair but eventually we found good spots each day. Food was so so, very few options for vegetarians. And long wait times for the all inclusive restaurants. Room dining is decent especially breakfast.
