Room was nice and clean but there was a lot of hair left over in the bathtub from the last visitors. I'm not talking wads or anything but I took out around 10 hairs from the tub, some fairly long.

Our room was right above the main entrance sliding door. There was lots of disturbance/sound, whenever the sliding door opned as we were able to hear the open and shut whenever it was used.

Didn’t realize no elevator & I should have asked for first floor for my hubby with mobility issues. I’m house restaurant we only had breakfasts at they were excellent. The train goes by a few times so a bit noisy but so close to subway Dairy Queen steak solace all right across rode! Very clean we had good service just the mobility part!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, eco-friendly and the front desk staff were very helpful with any of our needs. There was parking, and it was close to the downtown area and restaurants.

Great area to stay in. Restaurants within walking distance and not too far from Banff Ave. The hotel room was clean and spacious, especially the bathroom. We liked that we didn’t need a keycard for access to the room, just a pin passcode. It made for a very convenient stay since we needed a late check in. Overall, a really nice hotel. Glad this is where we selected to stay!

Good location. Walkable to many places. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Our bedding was dirty the first night of the stay. A red flag as we would have overlooked other minor Inconveniences. Our towels in the bathroom were still wet from what we’re not sure And lastly, the charging plugs in our room weren’t working by the bed and the Wi-Fi was terrible after certain time at night, so the TV was unwatchable

This place is the price of a hotel, but is really a glorified hostel. They offer zero cleaning services between your arrival and departure - not sure when that became acceptable? We only stayed for three nights, but I would not have wanted to stay any longer. Zero services.

Room check in.
The hotel was wonderful, however my wife booked my and a friends room and 3 days prior to arrival the hotel charged my wife’s credit card. Hotels.com website stated we would pay at the property. This upset my wife. We eventually got everything sorted out but our check in was delayed. The credit back to my wife’s credit card did not happen right away either. I think some communication between Northwinds and Hotels.com needs to happen. Like a warning you will be charged 3 days before arrival. In all my vast experience of travel, I have never experienced this before. You usually pay at the hotel and your credit card is there to guarantee your room, which would be charged if you did not show up.
