The staff was very friendly helpful. The room was huge, clean, quiet, wifi great, all the meals I had was tasty and well presented.
I noticed that the service at the pool was very slow and it took forever to pick up the dirty dishes. I am not sure if the manager is giving enough guidance
We had various issues with the room and service but they were resolved fairly quickly. One issue, not resolved is that there are no USB ports available - inconvenient in a hotel used for many business conferences.
Everything at the lord charles is impeccable, the staff are all professional, friendly and courteous, service is great and the rooms are amazingly comfortable
The staff were friendly and welcoming to me and my lady. They made it extra special for us. The room was well prepared. We were advised of what is happening at the hotel and around with options for our entertainment.
I will definitely book again.
In short:
They need to learn what the term "maintenance" means. Even if they appoint a handyman, it will go a long way towards addressing he many glaring issues relating to maintenance.
And... I do not like to have seconds for breakfast, referring rather sarcastically to the fact that the flies had first helping to the buffet.
Staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Will not recommend this establishment at all!
Stunning hotel with great amenities, the staff were beyond professional and friendly, it’s so well located and perfect for the wine lover looking to explore the local wine routes
I stayed here for a week even though my Expedia booking was for 2 nights. Lovely, friendly staff - responsive; good at recovery (e.g., always had to ask for bottled water even though housekeeping was to leave it each day). Property is a little older; standard room (6 nights) much better than suite on first night (host neglected to make reservation). Love the outdoor areas. Bed was really comfy, large shower with bathroom amenities. Would definitely stay again!
A great location for conferences, with great facilities on-site. You'd need to set aside some time to visit the more central places in Cape Town like Table Mountain, but it's very doable. Good vineyards around the place to visit for some good wine-tasting.

Could have been better
It would have been perfect if the bathroom did not leak , the air cons of many many other friends rooms were operational , the tissues available when we overheat , the room coffee had not been renewed for days .
This hotel has a lack of Quality Control and this is sad for an hotel of such a level . Our friend s conference were disappointed .
