Definitely not a 4 star hotel room service is very pppr quality £33+ for 5 pound bottle of wine dirt all around the room even when mobed to a different room same problem staff told me thats all they have. Tried getting a new hotel but not available so had to stay anyway but made sure we stayed out as long as possible to reduce the time we had to spend in room

Great hotel for city break
We stayed in a junior suite, the views alone were stunning. The suite was clean and staff were so helpful. Parking was good. Breakfast was very nice. The only observation would be that the seating in the bar area needs updating as the leather was broken in places but that is the only negative and did not affect our stay.

I had room 1902 large bedroom with sitting room lovely size but a little square and bland bed very comfortable and bathroom very nice only complaint shower over bath needs walk in can’t get in bath and ad a solo traveler don’t like sleeping into bath in case slip service at reception excellent and was given breakfast and complimentary lounge would have no problem staying there again

The hotel is in a prime location and only 5 mins walk from the station. The staff were friendly and happy to help. The lobby, restaurant and meeting facilities were all good but I did feel the room was slightly dated. I had a twin room and everytime I moved the bed rolled around or away from the wall.

Some little touches to the bathroom e.g paint flacking off at the top of the door. Only stayed 1 nite bed very comfy. Breakfast was nice good choice but unfortunately no sultanas or raisons with cereal option. Overall happy to stay again.

Upon arrival I was allocated a room - I walked in and it absolutely stank of smoking. I called reception and said there is no chance I could stay in there so was allocated another room. In the new room I had to call again as the TV didn't work - maintenance visited promptly to repair. Reported wet patch on the floor. Rather disappointed as I have stayed there several times

Fabulous location opposite John Lewis. Plentiful parking next to the hotel. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Only gripe was that the curtains didn’t close fully so they let a fair bit of light through.
