Carlisle weekend.

Hotel was very clean generally and room was also very clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Pool and jaccuzi is nice addition. Location is right in the middle of the city centre with loads of Restaurants nearby..

Great location

We stayed for 2 nights to get away for the weekend. The hotel is located in the centre of Carlisle and was ideal. It’s got some great original design features, if you’re into that. We were disappointed on our second night by guests in the room next to ours who were loudly and drunkenly talking until 2am. I guess city centre location attracts all, and after a few beers people forget about considering others. The night porter spoke to them, but made no difference. A lovely hotel, great location and friendly staff. We would definitely go back.

Great location to stay right in the centre of town and basically next to the Cathedral area. Room was comfortable and nicely appointed. We had dinner in the bar, very friendly staff and decent food. Breakfast in he morning was equally nice - it is a beautiful old building and these areas were lovely. For us also useful that it had parking included. A very nice play to stay in Carlisle.

Friendly and comfortable traditional hotel

Very efficient and friendly check in. Room clean and a comfortable bed. My only minor issue is that the shower over the bath has a curtain that keeps sticking to you rather than a shower screen which is unpleasant.

Short stay

It was difficult to access the car park due to road works and remodelling at the front of the hotel. However what was being undertaken it will be an excellent pedestrian and event area the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful the food was of a high standard. A very pleasant stay
