This is not a fancy place. However it is clean, staff is nice, breakfast is fine. If you are coming for Legoland it is a great, inexpensive place to stay.

Stay was ok, the rooms need a huge update. Horrible carpet, horrible paint, bathroom not great, keys to the room suck! Spider webs in the old curtains. Beds were great, housekeeping was great. Friendly stuff in the food area. Grounds are pretty abs clean . We did find a bed bed or some kind of an insert like that. It was gross.

Staff are very friendly, nice location close to Carlsbad State Park. Older Inn, in need of updates in room. Beds are comfortable, bathroom very old. Breakfast was fairly good.

A plus was the nice full-size couch and only $25 pet fee. The minus was freeway noise and multiple online sign up requests for pet fee that resulted in a triple charge. They politely refunded the over-charges.
