I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn't the best experience. The check-in process was a breeze, and the staff was genuinely nice, which was a great start. However, once we got to our room, things took a turn.
The room was set to a frigid 60 degrees, making it uncomfortable for sleep, especially since the bed comforters were very thin. We arrived late, so adjusting to the cold was a challenge. I ended up having to turn the heat on, which thankfully kicked in quickly.
To add to the list of inconveniences, the TV wasn’t working because it was unplugged. After I moved the shelf to plug it in, I found that the remote also didn’t work, which was frustrating. The bathroom door looked like it had been gnawed on, possibly by termites, and the towels were hard and thin. It seemed like the bathroom could either use a good cleaning or some renovations.
On the bright side, there were some pros: the pricing was very reasonable for the area, and we just needed a place to sleep. The room itself was clean, and it was equipped with a freezer, refrigerator, and microwave. Plus, the location was convenient, close to various attractions.
While the staff was friendly and the price was right, I’m not sure I’d stay here again. I’d probably opt to pay a bit more for a more comfortable and overall better experience.
