You will love the look and feel of this beautiful home! It is the kind of ocean front home you've dreamed about renting at the beach. Come and enjoy what we have to offer and you'll want to return year after year.

A beautiful sandy beach is just a few steps away with your own private beach access! If you're an early bird you can enjoy your coffee on the seaside deck and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. With large sliding glass doors all across the ocean side of the home spanning both the kitchen and living room, you'll have a great view of the waves. The living room has plenty of seating and a large flat screen Smart TV and cable. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you'll need - just bring your food. The dining room seats six and the large kitchen island seats four.
The primary bedroom has a brand-new queen mattress and box spring and a flat screen Smart TV. The second bedroom also has a brand-new queen mattress and box spring and a Smart TV. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a large dresser.

Downstairs is a separate living area with a living room, kitchenette, bedroom, and full bath. It can be accessed by an internal staircase or from the outside. The living room has a large wall mounted smart TV, and a new pull out queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchenette has an island, coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the full bath has a stall shower. There are sliders out onto the ground floor patio where a charcoal grill is located.

We have a washer and dryer for your convenience located in the garage. Sol Shine has a one car garage and parking for up to four cars.

Walk directly from your deck to the beach on your own private beach walkway with outdoor shower! We hire only the best cleaners and stock a good supply of household items so you don't have to worry about anything when you arrive. Come to the beach and relax at Sol Shine!

We are a 2-minute walk the Tiki Bar and Ocean Grill restaurant. Enjoy their live bands during the summer, tropical drinks and delicious seafood all year long. We are only a short distance to the Carolina Beach boardwalk, Britt's Donuts, Fentoni's Pizza, and the summer carnival rides and fireworks!

Town of Carolina Beach Dog Rules - All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times. April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the beach during restricted hours BEFORE 9:00 a.m. and AFTER 5:00 p.m. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9AM-5PM. October 1st through March 31st,dogs are allowed on the beach during all hours.

Family Vacay

The house was absolutely perfect for our family stay. Being right on the beach is priceless with children ages 2 & 3. The sunrise views in the morning are beautiful & gets your day started on the right foot. Very centrally located - went to the aquarium one morning (10 minutes away), ice cream right across the street, Tiki Bar a few houses down & Publix one mile away. Love the retro feel of Carolina Beach & watched the surfers every day!

Everything about this house was just right for our group of 5. The only complaints we had were that the lock box for the key was a bit difficult to open and the showers are really small. But location was perfect and overall property was very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Bringing in the New Year

Enjoyed our time at this great location on Carolina Beach. Beautiful ocean views and close to a variety of restaurants, bars, etc. Location was close for a short drive to the NC Aquarium and a ferry ride to Southport, which made for a great day. House was comfy and we appreciated the private walkway to the beach to take our fur babies for daily strolls. Had a great view from the back deck for the New Year fireworks display at Kure Beach! Hope to return again soon -- had a great time at Sol Shine!

Enjoyed it very much...with the the exception of mother nature this week. We did have a couple good days...house was awesome...private access was great...dogs loved it as well...perfect week for a lot of back porch sitting...Fantastic views...we will return. Checkin process was seamless...directions to access everything was great. Could use a bigger grill!...That would be my only suggestion. Thumbs up!! Don't hesitate if you are looking for a nice place to stay...it won't last!!!

Graduation celebration

No problems or surprises at all. From photos, was a little concerned living space and dining table would be too small, but everyone was able to gather in den comfortably and we barely used the dining table since the was so much seating on decks and bar stools. Also appreciate all the starter paper goods . Amazing view and atmosphere with the large sliding doors. Will recommend highly.

Beautiful ocean front house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only reason for the one 4-star was that I felt during the off-season a fresh coat of paint and some very minor upgrades could have been completed. But that won't stop me from returning!

Wonderful Beach Home At A Great Location

I have been renting homes in Carolina Beach for years and this was our favorite! It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We made most meals in the well appointed kitchen and loved having the beach only steps away. We traveled with 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids and 2 dogs, and the layout of the house was ideal. We gave my teen nephews the downstairs apartment and they could not have been happier. We will definitely be staying at Sol-Shine again!

Amazing stay! We will be back!

We needed a place along the NC coast to converge family members from all along the East coast. We had a birthday celebration and this place turned out to be perfect place! The view from the main floor is stunning and pictures don’t do it justice. I loved that the house was well stocked for entertaining. Lots of serving platters and a big island for cooking. Easy and private beach access. We would love to return. Thanks for making it an easy in and out.

Sol Shine beach House.

The property location was just beautiful. It definitely was $1 million view. Most of the beach house accommodations were adequate. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was set up fairly well. The only recommendation I would have for this rental is new shower stalls The water and water pressure was fine, but the shower stalls needed some updating.

Beach house

The location is excellent. Right on the beach with your own boardwalk to the beach. Sun rises are breath taking! The biggest disappointment was the lack of a working dishwasher. Also disappointing was the lack of supplies; soap, shampoo, paper towels, paper plates, fish liquid, etc. The property manager told us about the dishwasher right before we arrived. They supplied us with some paper plates and plastic silverware but it was not enough to last for our stay. We had to buy more paper plates, toilet paper and paper towels. Also in the kitchen there was only one dish towel for a whole week and no dish cloths. We had our Thanksgiving dinner and ate on paper plates. Not what we planned on. All week we used real silverware, glasses, bowls, pots and pans, utensils, etc. With 9 people, we were constantly washing dishes, which was a bummer. And we didn’t feel like the dishes were properly sanitized. There was only one bottle of dish liquid that was barely enough to get us through the week. And using a sponge to wash glasses and silverware was not very sanitary. Overall we made it work and we had fun family time. But for what we paid for the week, we felt the property could have had more supplies. No soap in the showers was surprising to all of us. As well as the lack of enough toilet paper. Hopefully this helps you to better prepare for future guests.
