This beautiful, completely private lake home is located a mile up a broad, forested peninsula on 40 acres. It features open concept kitchen, dining and living areas with hardwood floors, picture windows and a long deck offering broad views of the lake and woods. We have parking for four vehicles, a canoe is included with the rental and a 50 foot dock for your boats.
Three bedrooms (the master has a queen size bed) and two bathrooms accommodate up to seven adults. Small children are welcome and not included in the guest total. Two recently renovated bathrooms offer a walk-in shower and a tub shower, both rooms have grab bars and slip resistant floors making them ideal for seniors.
The house has central air and heating, soft water, washer, dryer, dishwasher and a fully equipped kitchen. Amenities include high speed internet, satellite TV, a DVD player, wifi, yard games and board games, books, a fire pit (wood supplied) and a gas grill. Linens, towels and dishes are provided.
The house is on Kitchi Lake, which lies is in the middle of the Cass Lake chain of eight inter-navigable lakes and offers a variety of game fish including walleye, northern pike, crappie, blue gill, large mouth bass and muskie. Cass Lake, a ten minute boat ride from the house, is also one of the state’s premier muskie lakes and a favorite with trophy fishermen. If you bring your own boat, a landing is available about a mile from the house, or you can usually rent one on the lake.
Nearby Bemidji offers a variety of family activities including hiking and biking on state trails, several golf courses, and major retail chains. Many of our guests book to attend programs at the Sanford Center or Bemidji State University while getting in some fishing.

Renting the two properties is also the solution for groups who want a shared vacation experience while maintaining separate family accommodations. At about 2.5 hours, from Fargo, Grand Forks and Duluth and about 4.5 from MSP, it is an easy reach for a getaway.
