"We loved the place despite the difficulty of getting there. Very rustic and authentic. The antique wood ceiling beams were special. No view and cold at night. Riomaggiere is worth the visit but be prepared to climb. Trattoria La Grotta nearby was excellent ambience and food. Alessandro was terrific! ..."

There is no elevator and you are going up 3 flights of stairs to the room, so plan ahead for your stay and pack accordingly. Maddy met us at the room ..."
