The place was roomy. We had 7 adults and 1 dog and no problems with space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked, so we cooked every day. We were not impressed with the cleanliness. There were cobwebs everywhere. Also when we got there we spent the first night killing flies. The place was infested with flies. We did enjoy being lakeside and did use the kayaks.

Its okay.
My family and I stayed here in the beginning of June. We were looking for a place to stay on Cayuga Lake for our vacation/ fishing trip. When we found this house we thought it looked nice and knew it would accommodate all of us so we decided to book it. The driveway on the computer does not look like it does in person, you can tell it has a hill but not like it does in person. We had 2 trucks towing boats and a Traverse. We made it work but its not really big enough for trucks with bass boats. Upon getting into the house it seemed nice until you really go around and look. If it was cleaned it had to be a quick clean. The carpet is stained, cobwebs every where, the floor really was not the cleanest, the couch had small white dog hair on it and the trash can downstairs in the apartment was full. We had to do some cleaning before we really settled in. The porch smells very musty the furniture was dirty and wet (we didn't even use it). I was looking forward to sitting under the willow tree like it says in the description but that wasn't happening either. There were postives like the view and the fun times we had but we all agreed the house needs some good TLC.

Roomy, clean, lake house
Three families fit beautifully in this huge comfortable house. It was clean well stocked with towels, sheets and pillows. The mornings were calm, and the guys enjoyed fishing off the dock. And the evenings were warm and comfortable and fire pit was shared with s’mores and lots of laughs. The sunsets were very beautiful. Highly recommended!

Could be great
Location great. The filthiest property I’ve ever rented. Communication prior to renting was superb and fast. When I communicated all the issues the property had upon arrival…..CRICKETS 😡 Washer so grossly dirty it was unusable, with noted mold and two attempts to run tub wash. Bed in first bedroom collapsed first time used. Cobwebs thick and abundant throughout outer property. Had to vacuum upon arrival ourselves. Fire pit was surrounded by weeds. Didn’t bother to use. Couches were covered with white dog hair. Attempted to vacuum ourselves. Carpet stained and dirty. Sitting outside first night with wind was frightening as gutter pins were loose and almost out. Was afraid gutter would come loose and potentially hit us. Upon opening kitchen pantry, it gave off funky smell. I truly hope owners deep clean and repair before renting again.

Wondering place to stay
The location was exactly what we were looking for. Not far from stuff but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The sunsets here are amazing!! My family had a great time! We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Great getaway on the lake with fantastic views and sunsets!
We had a fantastic week at this lakehouse on the east side of Cayuga Lake. Unbelievable sunset views from the house and dock! Very large house that easily sleeps 10 adults. Dog friendly and easy check in/out procedures. Will definitely book a return trip to this house! Property owner very friendly and easy to contact.

Great host!
We had a great week. The bay is nice and calm. Plenty of Ospry to watch. The water level is perfect so u can swim right off the dock (I recommend water shoes) and secure a sea doo. It’s not high enough if u want to anchor a boat but there’s a few launches nearby and enough space in the driveway to hold vehicles and a boat. There’s plenty of restaurants within 10-20 minutes. We visited Montezuma winery and there are other wineries nearby. All our questions were immediately addressed by the host. She was very Friendly, responsive and helpful.

Wonderful stay
Had a wonderful stay with our family, small children and grandparents. House was very spacious, plenty of room for everyone. Bonus apartment in the basement was a plus and is updated, with a view of the lake. Views of the lake are beautiful. Words don’t do it justice. Huge window in the master bedroom with Great Lake views. Caught lots of fish right from the dock with the kids which they loved. 3 Kayaks were awesome. Overall a great stay. It is an older home and could use updating on the main floor, especially the furniture. Window A/C units in all common areas and each bedroom kept the house very comfortable. Communication with the owner was exceptional, very response. Would stay again.
