Room and common areas were very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with our shower and they had it fixed quickly. The spread they offer for their free breakfast was amazing too!

Very weak wifi
2 weeks traveling to visit with family in 7 different states. We started and ended the trip here. Of all the hotels on our trip, this place has the slowest wifi ever. Big problem for me as i work remotely. So plan on using a hot spot if you also work and travel. My first night here, the cable box and tv were unplugged so i had to pull the dresser out from the waĺl to plug back in. Not the end of the world, but an inconvenience for sure. This location did have the best breakfast selection however. All the employees were friendly, clean location, easy access to the freeway and lots of restaurants near by to choose from. Only other concern i experienced was both rooms we had, the doors were very hard to open and close. Maybe the doors are too heavy and hanging wierd. But you definitely need to physically push/pull hard to open the door. Which can be challenging with coffees in hand.

Room smelled like a toilet but no refund
La Quinta by Wyndham - Cedar City offered up the worst hotel experience I can remember. After a long time to get the room key, we quickly noticed in the hallway leading to our room a pervasive smell of broken sewer lines (aka poo). A toxically strong detergent they were trying to use to hide the poo smell made it worse. It was a terrible combination of poo and cheap detergent. Unfortunately when we walked into the room, adjacent to a laundry room, the nauseating smell was no different. We tried to get a different room. None were available. The front desk staff ADMITTED they also had smelled something “up there”. BUT shockingly when we asked for a refund and did not stay there (there was zero chance we could; the room was 100% uninhabitable because of the toxic and very strong smell), the hotel refused. It has ignored our follow ups. But we will take this all the way to court if we have to. We will not drop getting fair recourse for this terrible rip off.

A very nice stay.
The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The location was very quiet. The shower was a little weird in that the door opened on the opposite side of the shower head so that you had to get into the shower to turn it on. towels were a little rough. Breakfast was just right.
