The hotel is exceptionally clean and has a decent breakfast, but it has its quirks. Our experience was not great.
First, upon entering our room the smoke detector was chirping. Long story short the phone was also broken, so I then went back down to the desk and told the guy who was working it and he told me that maintenance wasn't there to fix it. He came up and took 10 minutes to remove the 9v battery but the thing kept chirping. Somehow he managed to get the chirping to stop and then told me that he would have to put a work order in to have maintenance put a new battery in. This was 3 in the afternoon. Fast forward to 2:25am, we are dead asleep and the smoke detector starts to chirp again. In my pj's with no shoes on I take the elevator downstairs and let them know that it is chirping again. The lady at the front desk asked if I wanted to be moved to a new room. At 2:25am I did not want to pack up a room and move us to a new room, so I asked her to find a 9v battery and I would put it in myself. She did find one, told me that she would take money off my bill, and I put it in and the chirping stopped. Upon checkout I was not in fact given any money off my bill.
Other quirks: There is an outlet by the head of the beds that makes an incessant ticking noise. We had to download a white noise app to drown it out. There is also a 2 inch gap under the door so the noise from the hallway echoes into the rooms.
