Important info for your stay: sheets and bedding are available for $25 per bed, even though bedding is shown in the pictures. If we had known this, we would not have stayed here as we are on a cross country trip and not traveling with bedding. Thankfully, the camp host let us know on the way, so we were able to stop at Walmart and purchase bedding that could be reused for a spare bed at home that needed new sheets anyway. Also, the water onsite is non pottable, so thankfully we had a spare bottle of water in the car that we could use for brushing teeth/washing faces. There is no AC, which is fine for a cabin- when you expect this- but we went to sleep hot, though it cooled off during the night. We did wish there were a box fan to place in the window-all 4 windows did open on all 4 sides thankfully.
If you plan to camp, this is an EXCELLENT alternative, and beats tent camping hands down. The hosts have adorable welcoming touches all around the cabin, and the fridge works great! Even froze my ice packs! Yay!!
If we loved locally. We would utilize this site often. It is well maintained and the surroundings are beautiful. The water from the sinks does smell like sulfur, so we were glad we didn't need to shower, though the showers looked okay if you had flip flops (which we would have if we were doing planned camping). We stayed here due to the proximity to the Flight 93 Memorial, which as a side note was a wonderfully well-done and worth-while visit.
