Service needs work
We booked 4 rooms at the hotel. One corner suite and 3 sea rooms. We have emailed the hotel several times to provide us with a connecting room for my mother as she requires medical help but they just ignored us. Upon arrival, they informed us that the connecting rooms are taken (I wonder who needed those rooms more than us- we know it needs reassigning rooms but it should have been doable as we made the request ahead of time). Basically the receptionist offered us no choice saying that the hotel was fully booked.
During our stay, the laundry was out of service, the elevators lost electricity a few times and they forgot to clean our room for several nights.
It’s clear the hotel staff aren’t able to handle the load.
On the positive side, the guest services staff were impeccable. They went out of their way to help and make things happen. It’s as if they were trained separately from the other staff.
The hotel is also new and beautifully decorated.
Note: the hotel is on the windy side of town so the water was different from the other beach clubs but the breeze if you’re not swimming is an advantage. Also, You can walk around to local shops but the main areas need a car.
Overall, I would come back, but I’m hoping the staff will be better trained at the time
