Where to start. This resort is just not run or built well. The meal service was good, but hard to get into the restaurants. They hold the best times for specific guests so plan on eating at 5pm, or 930pm or at a buffet. Sewage issue by unit 6. Stay away. Don’t book via Expedia. We were told multiple times that we were bottom of the bottom since we booked our rooms on Expedia. Specifically booked rooms with 2 queens and paid for this, but they were not available upon arrival. And we were l told it was ok for our adult children to sleep in the same king bed. We protested and finally got a room with 2 queens but it took all day. Then the room leaked. Next room was moldy and we had a roach in the bed that night… explanation, ‘it’s a tropical climate’… with the leaky room, It was a big rainstorm and water came in from above … regardless of how big a rain a resort of less than 5 years old should not be leaking. There were buckets all over the resort catching water that was dripping down. Had to mive rooms 3 times. Spanned first 4 of our 6 days. Hilton needs to clean up customer service, soundness of property and management of this property. You pay a lot for these vacations and value needs to match the high price.

The Hilton is okay.. We stayed in a oceanfront enclave suite. The room was nice but our plumbing kept backing up and made the room smell like sewage. We did report this. Since the property is large if it rains you WILL get wet trying to get around especially if you are at the end of the resort. The food was okay and you need dinner reservations which with enclave they make them for you. Hibachi was terrible so I would skip that. The breakfast buffet is good but has the same options everyday. We struggled to find lunch (at times) as it was raining and the pool restaurant only serves outside (and you need a beach/pool server) and the buffet and hotel lobby bar were both closed.. I did report this to our enclave rep and they let us know that this was not supposed to happen... We had to order room service. The beach, for us was fine, and there are many rocks.. The beach attendants are great as long as you tip them. Overall, the resort is okay pending the type of vacation you are used to.

Wonderful experience for the whole family (5 adults). Large property but doesn’t feel crowded. Excellent food and service. The all inclusive package is very high quality - excellent restaurants and drinks. Amazing spa. Rooms were large, clean, comfortable (casa 3, 1st floor with patio by the pool). Awesome getaway. Shoutout to the tours and excursion company on premises. Made everything easy to organize and manage. Highly recommend. Would definitely go again.

Pools: The pools were very dirty, especially pool number 5. The water was so murky that we couldn’t even see our hands underwater. Food: The food quality was extremely disappointing, particularly at the buffet. Most of the dishes served during lunch and dinner were barely edible. Everything seemed old and lacked flavor. The BBQ station for fish, meat, and chicken was poorly managed. It felt like they assigned the slowest cook to the station, as they prepared only one type of meat at a time and in very small quantities. Waiting in line took over an hour for a turn, followed by another 30 minutes for the meat to be cooked! Unfortunately, this was the case across all the restaurants. Positives: The kids’ area and activities were enjoyable, though they didn’t allow children under 4 years old, which was disappointing for us as we have a 3.5-year-old. On a brighter note, the desserts were delicious.
