In the heart of Berry and the Regional Park of Brenne, the DOMAINE DU RIS DE FEU of 160 ha, with its 15th century manor, its tower and its fortified farm, is a meeting place between heritage and nature.

The "Anglin" gîte is ideal for discovering the nuggets that history has left all around the Ris de Feu, in Brenne, Berry and Boischaut Sud to the south of Indre 36.

The nature paths of ponds in meadows, observatories in sandstone hillocks reach out to you. For the buttons, Gargantua is not there for nothing. I will tell you the story.

In this land of small and large treasures, the kitchen of the gîte will allow you to experiment with local products, Berry recipes such as pumpkin, Father Michel's cream, the "calons" cake from La Solange, the venison jig in the style of cousin Denise, eggs in donkey balls and grandma Renée's rissoles.

After a Jacuzzi and/or a Sauna in the Wellness area, the tranquility of the place invites you to take a siesta and the little library from my childhood awaits you in the alcove.

As soon as you arrive, you will be immersed in the atmosphere of a house from yesteryear, where people like to spend their holidays as a couple, take a break, breathe and feel the passage of time.

In the domain, in complete privacy, on foot, by bicycle, you will discover along the 15 km of private marked paths, along the pond, the vegetable garden, the orchard, the stream, Gallo-Roman springs and its bridge. .

The charming cottage of 80 m2 awaits you around a fire, with private lounge, bedroom, office area and bathroom. In summer as in winter, the wood central heating, the traditional and ecological renovation offers you optimal comfort in a sober and warm atmosphere.
