Passionate wine lovers, bikers and hikers, Sylvie & Gilles welcome you to an authentic 1930s house carefully restored into a very comfortable holiday resort, quietly located on the edge of a small alley in the heart of a peaceful neighborhood. residential adjoining the nearby town centre. Privileged environment not far from the banks of the Saône, literally "cut off from the world" in an unusual & exotic setting. A real little "green setting" nestled close to shops & services as well as the historic & pedestrian heart of Chalon. Labeled "City of Art and History", the Burgundian city has a very rich heritage (half-timbered houses, towers and turrets, fortifications and bastions, Saint Vincent cathedral, former episcopal palace, Italian theater "the Piccolo", chapel of the Saint-Laurent island hospital…) & a level of cultural and leisure facilities of very high quality. Very comfortable apartment. Spacious & bright. Beautiful volumes. Warm contemporary character enhanced by the exotic atmosphere of an old residence. Lots of charm & character. Cozy & cozy. Large exposed private terrace, opening onto a pleasant enclosed, lawned & vegetated garden nestled at the back of the house (shared with the other gite in the house). Composition: Town house comprising two gites (totally independent, one opposite the other / common entrance from the alley, via a corridor leading to the 2 apartments). Wireless. Gas central heating. Ground floor: living room-kitchen-lounge, separate toilets. 1st floor: large landing mezzanine with office area, TV lounge (double sofa bed 140x190cm), 2 bedrooms (double bed 160x200cm / 2 single beds 90x200cm bunk), bathroom (bathtub/Wc). Nous étions avec des enfants de 4 et 7 ans. Nous avons pu faire de belles ballade dans la ville et ses environs, explorer les abords de la Saône.

Un séjour plaisant. Léger manque au niveau de la salle de bain ou 2 robinets séparés chaud / froid sans mitigeur est un peu désuet de nos jours et un manque au niveau télévision qui est sans Box. Sinon parfait et dés que je retourne sur Chalon Sur Saône je réserve de nouveau ce logement
