A new perspective
My stay was very restful, I didn’t have any issues with the cleanliness or overall comfort. I will say that the bathrooms can have a better deep clean, as there was black stuff under the rim of the sink and what looked like blood on the wall to the left of the sink, Room 344. I would also like to mention that a really good perk for the place and may be a deal sealer for most is a complementary full breakfast. I am a travel nurse who travels from my own home to different states and the advantage of having a free breakfast is very convenient and comforting for those that are away from home.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and they never cleaned my room since I’ve been there. I even told the front desk couple times. It’s so annoying to not have clean bed sheets, towels, etc..

Clean and convenient accommodations. Layout of hotel and room was a bit different and sometimes difficult to navigate. Most staff was friendly and helpful, but front desk staff were not as helpful. Front desk staff did not communicate well and were somewhat non-responsive. Room was directly above laundry, so the room became noisy and vibrated beginning about 6:45 AM each morning. Just part of normal operations though. Overall a good stay and would consider staying again.

The hotel was clean, quiet and room well equipped. The fireplace in the lobby was a cozy place for reading. The front desk was short staffed when we arrived so we had to wait awhile to check in, and on the day we left one of the staff rudely asked my husband if he was a guest there, implying that he was a "flagrant" (her words) because she saw him "walk in from outside". She was apologetic when he showed her his key. Other than that, the hotel met our basic needs and was comfortable overall.

The space in a suite was very large, amazingly large like a small apartment kitchen area bathroom separate living area in bedroom. Buffet breakfast and the staff was very helpful. Literally around the corner is California dreaming a great Charleston restaurant. I grew up here and usually stay other places, but decided I would try Cambria. Great choice. It’ll be our go to from now on.
