I vote no!
Terrible flight of 16 stairs to get to the bedroom. Bathroom too small. No water glasses in the bathroom. Only one face cloth. Two block walk to parking garage @ $20 per night. No breakfast. Only good thing was location, but at a very high price!

The location of this hotel is amazing. Right next to the market, a short walk to the harbor, and plenty of great restaurants close by.

I couldn't stay there because of tropical storm Debby. I still got charged. even though I showed up at the front desk during the storm and cancelled the stay in person due to the weather and not wanting to get stranded when the streets flooded the next morning. Told just to work it out with Expedia. No help from Expedia as well. Done with both of them.

Very old and dated. Appears to have been an old mansion early on and renovated with antique furniture etc. New walk-in shower, but cold water minimal (hot fine). Rooms are 2 story difficult to use if you have problem using stairs. Staff very cordial and helpful.

We visit Charleston frequently and decided to stay downtown this time and tried Church St Inn because of the location right across from the market. From the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! We were a little early, but our room was ready, which was great! The property is older, but very clean and well maintained. We loved the fact that the bedroom was upstairs with the full kitchen and living area downstairs. It feels much more like a condo than a hotel room, which for our week long stay was fantastic! We met quite a few staff members and everyone always greeted us with a smile and gave great recommendations for dining and places to go. We will definitely stay here again!

The church Street Inn is a real gem. It was conveniently located close to everything which was great for my 85 year old mother who had limited walking abilities. I will definitely be visiting the inn again.

I loved the director of housekeeping. He was a joy—always greeting us with such a great energy. The location was perfect with many major destinations within walking distance. There were many excellent food options close as well. Despite this, the facilities were not up to standard. We had a broken hand towel bar that was not fixed properly when we asked for maintenance. There was an off-putting odor coming from the AC unit as well. On another day, they were not able to provide clean towels because they had run out. The staff was not hospitable. There was a staff party thrown without acknowledging it to the guests. It felt like we were intruding on someone else’s party in the lobby area, and though we brought it up, there wasn’t a proper apology issued. Overall, we did not feel very welcomed or well served at this establishment.
