My husband and I booked four nights at the hotel. If you like to walk, the hotel is on the outskirts of the historic center, 1/2 hour walk to everything. When arriving to our room, it was a standard hotel room. Upon using the room, it has been well used and needs updates to it. The bathroom sink barely drained, the towel rack was hanging partly off the wall, the TV has spots on it from bulbs going, the edges of the carpet are loaded with dust/dirt, the mattress had two spots where people lay and needed replaced, it is in need of routine maintenance. Breakfast at the hotel is a standard breakfast. People do bring their dogs, just watch to make sure they are not taste testing the food! The staff at the desk are very pleasant and I asked for the sink to be fixed, assured me it would be. The issue with the hotel, and the real reason we would not book with them again is our last night there. The hotel put a notice in the elevators that the water would be turned off at 10:00 am for a few hours. My husband and I spent the whole day out and got back around 7:30. We went to our room, hoping to get a shower and pack to go home. When we walked into our room, the cleaning staff never came, the shower was on, the bathroom floor was soaked and the issues reported to the desk were never fixed. They didn’t have any cleaning staff there at that hour, but they brought us a set of towels and a maintenance person to fix the sink/towel bar. We were very disappointed in this hotel.
