I booked this hotel CLT Inn and Suites( Formerly la Quinta) on the expedia app for a three night stay and when I got to the property and checked in with my ID on Sunday night I was checked in under someone elses name. I went out on Monday,didn't get back till late I got a call from CLT bedmfore I got there to say that I should come and get my stuff from the front desk as they were removed from the room because I should have checked out in the morning. I was livid,that wS how I found out that I was checked in under someone elses name.I showed the front desk operator my booking on epedia,and after much back and forth with her manager they had canceled my booking, said I was a no show had to be rebooked with a whole bunch of appollogies. I had some birthday gifts for my daughter and grandson already packaged in bags and they went through my stuff and removed all the tissue paper from the bags and unpacked them for what reason I have no idea.This place is dirty,there are a lot of locals hanging around, it was not what it was said to be on the website,carpet dirty. The only good thing about this place is the bathroom was very clean,there was supposed to be free breakfast there was no breakfast at all not even coffee or tea. This place needs to be closed down and refurbished before taking anymore guests Needs new management as well

There was not any linens provided other than one fitted sheet and two regular sheets and pillow cases. Door was ajar when arrived. No toilet paper towels or washcloths available entire stay! Breakfast was just oatmeal sometimes

Facts: The fourth floor hallway smelt like a robust exotic food. When we entered the room we noticed there were no towels at all. When I tried to call front desk to get towels, I pushed the button on the phone to call guest services (labeled guest services) and was only able to reach the wake up call service. So I went back down from the 4th floor to the first floor to get towels at the main desk. I was only given two bath towels. The room had large holes in the wall left by missing fixtures such as the curtain rod and blinds, a light fixture, and a receptacle. The one bedside light fixture that was left did not work. The room coffee pot was broken. The bed sheets were very thin and had makeup and red wine stains. I did request an extra blanket and was given a fairly thick down comforter but it was also stained. At approximately 2:27 a.m. I was startled awake by a high-pitch squealing sound similar to a teapot kettle. The sound varied in pitch and loudness for several minutes and then settled at a very high, loud pitch. I checked the parking lot and it was not a car alarm. I look through the peephole to see if there was any commotion in the hallway and then realized the sound was coming from the bathroom. Looking further I realized the sound was coming from the shower head. I closed the bathroom door to muffle the sound and after about 10 minutes it finally subsided as I was getting ready to put clothes on to go to the front desk to have it evaluated by a staff member.

Looking forward to it becoming a Hilton Spark.
There was a lot of night traffic coming and going thr side doors, some yelling by a woman, help me & my rm phone didnt work so I couldnt call for help at end of hall. Noisy cars coming and going and people in the back at nt. sitting in cars. No quilt on my bed. Had to go twice to get one. TV didnt turn on, bedside light broken. Shower hardware worn so oscillating cold hot temps. Great day staff and General Manager very kind, thorough. Thank you! Not well rested. Moved to another Hotel. Spark Hilton will gut and reno and set new safe, healthy, pleasant environment soon.
