While the hotel is centrally located and has useful amenities, I had two major issues. 1) With the air conditioning off, the room filled with the strong odor of urine. I am not quite sure where it came from, but it dissipated when the AC was active. 2) There was some sort of meet-up of hooligans outside of the hotel on a Saturday night that did not end until after midnight. They blasted music and had exhaust systems that can only be described as explosively un-muffled. I don't know what the hell it was, but the cops did not arrive, which also floored me.

We were in Charlotte for a Panthers game. The walk to stadium was so convenient. Hotel was lovely, clean and beds comfortable. Parking on site convenient but pricey.

We expected more from Marriott. Rooms didn’t have tea bags, and I don’t drink coffee. We went downstairs to ask for tea bags, they didn’t have any! They could’ve gone in the restaurant’s closet to fetch some, but no! In the morning my husband went downstairs to have a cup of coffee while I was showering, no complimentary coffee in the lobby either. It was not a cheap stay. We payed around $300 for the night in a mid size town. Come on now.

Best thing about this hotel is that it’s in walking distance to areas that are attractions. We only stayed one night however we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if in the Charlotte uptown area.

Group enjoyed our stay!! They gave us two rooms next to each other which was appreciated. We had a couple struggles with unlocking the door but it wasn’t too much of an issue and we always got it to work.
