This was not one of my better trips first of all for some reason there was a mistake made with my reservation I did not ask for a handicap room I was simply checking what options were available under the handicap options. On arrival, I should have requested another room. Handicap room I have ever had I might add and requiring a $100 incidental fee was outrageous and I have stayed at hotels in the area comparable to and above your hotel and they did not require anywhere near that amount,as it was, the cost of the room was already non-refundable! The lack a proper draining area in the bathroom makes it dangerous for one who is handicapped to shower in there. And because it was raining, I had the 'pleasure ' of slugs all over the floor! I had to end up asking for a complimentary toothpaste pack in which I was given exactly 1, really. The staff were friendly and helpful, though when I asked why it would take 7 days to have my $100 returned, Staff didn't know the answer. I understand that this is 3rd-party booking which I have done and usually have my account credited in 3-5 business days. I will keep check however as the room was left with no incidentals to charge for. I understand the changes with covid, still the hall we were on could have stood having someone attending vacuuming/disposing of the trash dropped in tge hallway.
