We arrived much later than expected due to travel issues from New York City to the Charlotte, Kannapolis area, so it was dark when we got to the property. The touchpad entry made it easy to get in, which was a relief.
Inside, we were impressed by the beautiful layout. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were mostly open, with nice furniture and place settings on the dining table. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped.
However, there were a few downsides. The trash bags and dish liquid provided were limited. More supplies would be helpful, especially for a family staying the weekend. Additionally, the back patio sliding door lacked a screen, allowing flies to enter when opened. A screen would have been a plus.
Upon arrival, we encountered a roach, which we immediately dealt with. This made us cautious about leaving food out, but thankfully, we didn’t see any more roaches during our stay.
On the positive side, everything functioned as it should. The washing machine, dryer, and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable.
Our host, Jeffrey Donovan, was communicative and respectful, ensuring we had everything we needed.
One suggestion for Jeffrey is to allow early check-ins without an additional fee if the place is available. Many hotels offer this option at no extra cost, enhancing the guest experience.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks.
