Handy for City Centre
Issue with checking in as booked DB&B but only showed B&B when checking in. Don’t know whether Hotels.com system or Holiday Inn booking system. We got sorted in the end. Could have done with a slightly earlier weekend breakfast but excellent choice as usual. Staff all pleasant and attentive. Not too far to drive into city centre.

We had an unusually large room and our dogs were allowed to stay with us, which was great, as other hotels in the area couldn't accommodate them. The breakfast was generous with lots of options. The swimming pool area is perfect. What made our stay particularly enjoyable, though, were the helpful and friendly employees. They were all fantastic!

The property looks run down and our room was dusty and had a damp smell. I did ask to be moved, and we was upgraded to a slightly better room, however it still had a damp smell.

Hotel is just across the road to the park and ride that's great the room was ok but could have done with a hover as had crumbs on the floor by tv and side of the bed. We had dinner at hotel curry but its was just like what you get as cheap meal from a supermarket in a microwave and at £25 each was not cheap that was a let down

The property is located on the edge of Chester which means excursions are easy without having to negotiate city traffic and Chester itself is a short bus ride away, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. The staff are very helpful and the food is excellent.

Last minute stay
Booked a premier room yet no different to a standard so unsure if we actually got a premier room or not. Wasn’t the cleanest of rooms dust on lamps etc. breakfast was great and staff friendly.

Good value stay.
Nice location just off A55 at Chester close to park and ride. Hotel is perhaps looking a little tired but has all you need for a short stay.Polite helpful staff, on site leisure club, tea and coffee. Good breakfast oncluded in our purchase, no issues eorth complaining about, good value.

Good reasonable priced hotel
Whilst it’s an older building, the reception area and rooms have been renovated and feel welcoming and comfortable. The leisure facilities need work though, changing rooms and showers are fine but pool area and jacuzzi pretty tired looking though warm and enjoyable just don’t look up at paint falling off the roof and the rusting rails.
