The property was convenient as a base to go sightseeing, the restaurant was really easy for evening meal. The staff at reception and dining room very helpful and tried to help accommodate our requests noting one person was elderly and disabled.
I thought I had book a hotel that was accessible , I rung hotel from AU prior to arrival , The team tried to help us as best that they could. unfortunately our first room was up a flight of stairs without lift access, there was a step into bathroom. This was hard for disabled person having to use crutches to walk. Reception helped by moving us to the new part of the building with a lift on our 2nd night unfortunately the shower was over a bath no grab rails disabled person could not use. The room was very far away from the lift also difficult for a person with limited mobility. On discussion about concerns , we were offered a room with a shower but it meant there was only a double bed. I had requested twin rooms because I was travelling with an elderly parent.
The disable parking was not near the entry points also difficult for a person with Mobility issues.
Overall, it’s a nice place to stay but for a person with Mobility issues it may not be the right place to stay.
