Loved loved this property… wished I’ve stayed 2 nights instead of one. It’s a 10 minute drive to downtown as MBH Maya Bacalar is in the middle of jungle but so nice to wake up to the scenery and the amazing lagoon. The kids enjoyed every second of our stay. We took advantage of the paddle boards kayak and of course swimming in this beautiful lagoon. Can’t wait to go back to this amazing place.

Pure magic! I loved my stay at the MBH. The property is set in the jungle and is surrounded by the natural beauty of Bacalar. It has an incredible lagoon access including kayaks and paddle boards for you to explore with. It’s well worth it!

The bed was too noisy ... maintenance fixed it but it stayed the same. You could hear the noise from the room right away . The hotel is very expensive and they don't give you anything , not even coffee .

Beautiful setting on the shore of Lake Bacalar. The dock was a perfect place to hang out. We were only there for one night, would like to have stayed longer.

Muy bonito hotel en la mejor área de la laguna, la vista hermosa. Tiene alberca en la habitación con una vista hermosa. El area de camastros requiere un poco de más atención. Los desayunos riquísimos y el servico excelente !

We booked this hotel last minute. And it didn’t disappoint place is absolutely beautiful. When we first saw the lagoon we were so impressed how amazing and beautiful it was Bacalar. The room was impeccable clean. It had ac which was great overall we had an amazing experience there. We had chilaquiles for breakfast at their place delicious.

MBH is our favourite place to stay in Bacalar. So nice and quiet. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The jetty on the lagoon is the perfect place to relax. The staff are amazing, and I’d you need anything are just a WhatsApp message away. We will certainly be back as soon as we can

What we liked it that is was nestled between trees and everything is pretty much shaded around the rooms. The lagoon is beautiful and clean. The STAFF was amazing and courteous. Downtown Bacalar is very close drive. Would definitely recommend hotel to others. Wish we had more time to stay longer. There was nothing we did not like about our stay.
