While lastminute.com.au has an impressive database of South Korea accommodations, you sadly won't find anywhere to lay your head in or close to Chibu.
No need to panic though! Hwasun is around 25 kilometres away and has some excellent accommodations, such as the Ramada Plaza Gwangju and Kumho Hwasun Resort.

I really enjoyed how peaceful and homey this pension felt. And the hosts were so kind and thoughtful. The floor was heated, which was lovely on the cool mornings, and although WiFi was not provided the cell service was strong. The tea plantations are close by. The whole area is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.
