On northern outskirts of Chicago, this hotel was clean. Certain areas showed the hotels age, with chips in the walls, places where you could see the railing broke or fell off and was replaced a few inches down from the last spot, molding that didnt quite match in a few areas. All things that didnt really matter. The sheets were clean, the beds were comfortable, the fridge was cold, the toilet flushed. The only "problem" i ran into was there was no channel guide for the tv so i was just blindly going through the channels. But i didnt get the hotel to sit around and watch tv. If the goal is to have a quiet secure comfortable nights rest then this hotel fits the bill

Booked at a time when the pool was out of service. There isn’t much else that differentiates it from the area and it’s not worth paying more to stay here if the only real amenity is offline. I understand it’s not a guarantee, but either is a good review.

Accessibility was a joke…so was breakfast
Looked much cleaner than other reviews said HOWEVER: -Booked an accessible room with a queen bed but got a full size bed instead. Bed was too high to be a proper accessible bed, bars in the bathroom do not necessarily equal accessibility. There were only bars inside the tub, making it difficult to get in and out. Bars beside toilet were too far back to be useful. -Toilet ran NONSTOP -Temperature control in room was poor…it was too hot. -Breakfast was the standard breakfast buffet- cold as soon as it left the warmer, orange juice tasted more like water than OJ. Not worth $13/person. I have stayed at shadier hotels with better breakfast, for free. Finally, I tried to call the front desk 4 times to ask about the time for breakfast, Sat on hold forever, and then got disconnected. If I wasn’t exhausted, I would’ve demanded a proper queen bed and such but walking from the desk all the way to my room while disabled was a lot.

I was supposed to stay for a week from 11/10-11/17. On 11/13 they moved my room and belongings in middle of day from 3017 to 3002. When I returned from work they tried to convince me that was always my room because my key didn’t work. The next day I talked to general manager Kamran Gaba and explained I was taking my business elsewhere and that is wrong. I checked out and went to another hotel in area. Feel violated. Very poor business. At least call, email me, and let me move my belongings. Do not let your customers stay at this property. I will be reluctant to choose an IHG property again.

The in-building Bar & Grill was decent but expensive. The pool and spa(hot tub) were nice. It is only open from 9am to 9pm which was a bit early of a close for my schedule but still fair. It did NOT have a lifeguard, however which made me stay in the shallow end of the pool.
