Clean, up-to-date hotel, very nice staff. Within a block of food, drinks, convenience store, spirits. Gets free delivery. Close to music, museums, lakefront parks. Near South Loop. Walkable to Shedd Aquarium, Buckingham Fountain in Millennium Park, Flo & Santos “tavern-style” thin-crust pizza, Giordano’s deep-dish pizza, Blues at Buddy Guy’s Legends, The Jazz Showcase and Chicago dogs and Italian beef from Devil Dawgs. Grubhub offered free delivery and a $10 discount to Homewood guests (Feb 2026). The staff is very welcoming. Our room was large and clean. We loved the daily free hot buffet American breakfast plus continental breakfast fare. The roll-through toasters work great!

I understand it is a big hotel but I got a room with a very strong weed smell even though they try to cover it with deodorant it was useless. Inmediatelly the room was changed , thank you . The staff was great , very helpful Breakfast was good Facilities , the gym was good but the pool always FULL OF PEOPLE as same as the jacuzzi , may be It could be a good idea to limit the amount of people there After all it is ok

The amenities were pretty good. The gym was awesome, the location for breakfast was awesome, the food was hit or miss. The staff was great (just one time they forgot about a delivery that I inquire but no worries). Housekeeping was great. HOWEVER, they only had ONE working elevator!!!
