This is a lovely hotel with tons of amenities in a perfect Chicago Loop location. We stayed for a weekend in February 2026 to visit the museums. Everyone had cabin fever, so a quick trip to Chicago and swimming at the pool were a nice change of pace. If the weather had been warmer, we could have walked to the museum campus, but it was a bit too cold for that. Even so, we were just a short walk away from Lou Malnati's and the Eleven City Diner (so cute and good). Even in 20 degrees, we could comfortably walk to both places. We also tried the hotel restaurant, Leiya, which was good but not great, but convenient with a lot of kid-friendly options, though no kids menu. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. I believe every room is a suite with a pull out sofa bed and small kitchenette. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The staff could not have been nicer. We kept having weather issues, even rescheduling our trip, and calling the hotel with questions. They were always courteous and accommodating, making sure we had adjoining rooms. Thank you, Alexis, for all your help! Cons: One of two elevators was down the entire weekend and the stairs are locked from floor to floor so we couldn't walk to breakfast. The hotel was packed, so moving around was tough. The L is close and noisy at night. The breakfast was weird (pulled pork and smoked sausage instead of bacon or pancakes?) but we found stuff to eat. The pool was PACKED. Overall, a solid hotel!

Many of the guests were loud and smoking marijuana. One elevator was broken, leaving only one other for 20 floors with a wait time of five to ten minutes. Heater would stay on for a long time causing the room to be very warm then shut off for a long time until the room started to feel cold. Staff was not helpful and I had no explanation of my charges which are about $200 more than I made a reservation for and I did not receive a receipt via email. I will NOT stay here again.

The room was excellent, clean, and spacious. The pool and jacuzzi also were very nice and clean. The breakfast, however, was ok, and not well stocked or fresh. One elevator was out of service for our stay which caused steady long waiting lines for the elevators. Overall staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Staff was nice, elevator situation sucked as there was only 1 working elevator and you couldn’t even take the stairs bc they are all locked. Friends had a disgusting stain on their headboard and other friends had walked in on a family to their assigned room, got a new room, key didn’t work so then finally after the 3rd try they got a room. Breakfast was ok. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff was helpful, however: - Only 1 of 2 elevators working over our 2 night stay (serving 20 floors). Always a crowd for the elevator in the lobby and had to let 3 down elevators pass my 10th floor (because they were full of other guests checking out) and walk down 10 flights of stairs. - Bathroom sink faucet was broken (water sprayed out of spigot). - Large spider web over bathroom sink. - Noisy HVAC fan (on constantly for a 72F, auto, setting).
