I stayed for business however the majority of the hotel patrons are international tourists and families. I do not recommend this hotel for business travelers. Also there is housing for the illegal migrants across the street and they are standing in groups on the sidewalk all the time. The property is new which is wonderful and housekeeping did a good job.

Lovely downtown Chicago hotel
New hotel to downtown Chicago at a great price. They have a rooftop bar and a hotel bar on the 1st floor. I think both were opem until 11p. The complimentary buffet breakfast was amazing! Only valet parking avaliable for $65. I will stay here again.

The room is not luxurious, but how much time will you be spending there. The Outdoor Rooftop is one of the Best In Chicago, so Please! Keep that a Secret!! And the Breakfast Buffet is Outstanding.

Great hotel in Chicago at a very reasonable price. The hotel is brand new. If they manage to keep it as clean and well operated as it is now, this will be my new go-to hotel in Chicago without a doubt. I fully recommend it.

This property and the entire Brand of Riu Resorts are nothing short of amazing. The staff is so kind and prompt. The rooftop bar is beautiful. The room was spacious and clean. No complaints. Tens across the board. Highly recommend staying here. Next time I’m in town I will choose them again. The entire city is walkable but this hotel is right off of the magnificent mile- with all the shopping and dining.

The hotel is in a great area, very clean and recently renovated. Breakfast buffet is the best we've ever had-Lots of choices. Fun rooftop restaurant/bar.

Great property steps away from the agnificent Mile
Excellent property. Rooms were in great condition and well insulated from outdoor noise. Plenty of comfy towels. They recycle! Free breakfast was an amazing buffet ( well the resort fee likely covered part of this cost). All staff were friendly and helpful. Both bars had great service but you have to try the upstairs one on the 27th floor at night - awesome views. No parking so if you drive you will have to pay separately for a nearby garage. Very safe property with 24/7 front desk staff and door folks. Plus key card required to access all floors.

The hotel is actually really nice and we loved the rooftop bar!! I was a little disappointed with the room because we were facing a brick wall the whole time and we got the room for the view but all in all the room was really nice. Lastly the food was horrible which explains why it’s free but the service was really good!!

Gabriella at the front desk is awful. She was not not helpful and, more importantly not truthful. She speaks to guest in circles and talks past them. This is over a simple request such as a little toothpaste. She insisted that they do not provide amenities and that they don it have any. I was surprised because all other hotels have this on hand, for the 40 years I’ve been travelling. When I mentioned that I wanted to speak with the general manager, she asked me to hold and checked with Housekeeping. She came back say she sent someone to bring up toothpaste to the room. When I asked her why it took me to escalate, before she made a move to help, she just kept talking past me. Cassie at the front desk taking her instructions. This makes such a nice hotel look very bad. Staff are not honest with guests… repeatedly?? Over toothpaste????! Please find better people who want to do their jobs! They are out there!
